Araina's POV:
I blush a little.
He takes my hand and we stand up to walk a bit around the park, taking a couple pictures as we walk.
"I was thinking of going to watch a movie. If you want," he says as we walk on the grass and towards the street.
There is a movie theatre right in front of the park.
"Yeah, that'd be cool," I say.
We walk over to it and stand in line for a movie.We pick out a movie together and go inside the movie theatre as we wait for it start. He buys some snack (popcorns, gummy bears, chips, etc..)
"We're not gonna eat this much," I say laughing when he comes back from buying frozen yoghurt.
"Oh we'll see," he says smiling.
I can't hold myself so I take one of the popcorns and start eating.I look at my watch, ten minutes till the movie starts.
"Do you wanna just go in?" I ask.
"Sure," he says.
He takes my hand and we stand up.
As we go towards the gates, I get a text on my phone.
'Araina? Where are you?' It's my mom.
"Sorry, I have to make a call," I say to Luke.
He nods his head and I call my mom.
"Hi mom," I say.
"Araina? Where are you?" She asks.
"Mom I'm on a date," I answer.
She doesn't say anything for a few seconds. She is probably jumping around the room out of joy.
"Alright than have fun," she says with an extremely flabbergasted tone.
"Bye," I say and hang up.
I walk back towards Luke and put my phone back in my messenger bag.
We reach our seats and sit down.
The trailers have already started.
I see a movie that I have been waiting for a really long time.
"I've been waiting for this movie for such a long time!" I whisper.
In the dark light I can see him stare at me with awe.
"You read the books?" He asks.
"Um yeah," I reply biting my lower lip again. Bad habit.
"Me too..." He says running his hand though his hair.
I smile at the thought that he might actually sit down and read books.
The movie starts. We watch it while we eat. Eat a lot.
"Araina?" Luke asks in the middle of the movie. One of my hands is in the popcorn and the other entwined with is.
"Yeah?" I answer turning my head towards him.
He stares at me as if he is reading all my thoughts.
"I don't know if I am going too fast, but I have to tell you something," he says.
