"Are you sure that you're ready to meet her?" I asked.

"Yes. 100%. It's all going to be ok, Betty," Polly placed a hand on my knee reassuringly. I nodded.

"Ok then," I turned my head to see Jughead, with his hand on the front door handle. "You can let her in, Juggie." I turned to face Polly on the couch. "But I swear, Polly, if you feel endangered by her please don't hesitate to say so and we'll kick her out." I whispered.

"Don't worry Betty," Polly laughed at me.

Jughead slowly opened the front door and Cheryl burst in, arms open wide, and ran to give Polly a giant hug that squeezed the life out her.

"It's so good to see you again, Polly!" Cheryl said as she pulled out from the hug and gasped at Polly's stomach. "Ohmigosh!" She covered her mouth in awe. "It's Baby JJ!" Cheryl pointed and jumped up and down like a five year old. Then she gently grabbed Polly's arms. "This is so exciting! I can't wait to be an aunt. Jason would have been such a great father, too. Good thing this baby has us" She hugged Polly once more.

"Someone is overly excited," Jughead mumbled under his breath. I quietly snickered at his remark. He saw that I snickered and threw his arm over my shoulders and pulled me closer to his side.

"So, do you guys want to head to the kitchen? I just made dinner," I suggested.

-------------------------------------------

At the table, Jughead sat at the head, I was sat on his right, Cheryl was on my right, and then Polly was across from me. We all dug into our alfredo pasta with chicken, because Polly's baby needs the protein. It's so weird that she's pregnant now. Like I have to consciously think about what she can or can't do, can or can't eat. For instance, I was originally going to make fish for dinner, but pregnant women can't eat seafood because it's bad for the baby. Just little things like that.

"So when are you going to have a baby shower?" Cheryl said enthusiastically. "Because I'll definitely throw you one."

"Oh... ummm.. I haven't really thought much about it," Polly said bashfully.

"Don't worry Cheryl, we can throw Polly a babyshower and everything." I interjected. "I mean, we have money now, so."

"I know, but I mean, I want to help plan it out and do decorations and everything! And as much as I hate to say it, we have to have it here because my parents aren't allowed to see Polly." She looked around our house and made a disgusted face.

"Of course we'll definitely have it here. And you are more than welcome to help me plan. Polly is my sister after all." I said as I stirred my pasta onto my fork.

"Also, we don't live in a dump, Cheryl," Jughead scoffed and shook his head. Then he continued to eat his pasta.

"You would know, Jones. Since you came from one." Cheryl replied with a smirk, as she buttered her bread roll. Polly just sat there in between them, looking nervous and not really sure what to do.

"It's better than hooking up with my brother," Jughead smirked and then shoved a mouth full of pasta into his mouth.

"We did not 'hook up' Jones," Cheryl spat back, glaring daggers at him. If looks could kill...

"Alrightie everybody!" I interjected. "Let's please try to stay civil, especially for Polly and um... Little JJ." I had trouble saying that out loud, but both Polly and Cheryl seemed accustomed to calling the baby that.

"Thank you," Polly mouthed at me from across the table.

"Fine, but only for Baby JJ," Cheryl said, reaching across the table to put her hand on Polly's stomach. "Ohmigoodness! Baby JJ kicked!" She exclaimed.
