"Guys, we absolutely have to make sure that this Saturday is perfect for Polly." I emphasized. It was Wednesday and this Saturday was Polly's baby shower. "Now, Ronnie and Cheryl are going to decorate. Kevin and I are going to cook. And Juggie and Archie can help decorate too, I suppose."
"Good. Because I'm gonna need tall guys to help with the streamers," Cheryl quickly added. "Oh! I'm so excited about Baby JJ's babyshower! It's going to be AMAZING."
"Yeah. It'd be even better if we called him something different, anything different, really." Veronica scoffed.
"Well, we'll call him Baby JJ because that's what Polly prefers, ok?" I gave a pathetic smile.
"Yes. For Polly's sake, guys. Come on." Kevin chimed in. "Plus, I'll be making my gingersnap cookies and Baby JJ is going to love them. I guarantee it."
"I'm sure, Kevin." I laughed.
"Ok, so do I like just stand there and hang streamers orrrr?" Jughead questioned.
"Oh! You know what you and Arch could actually do? I need someone to take Polly out and do something fun before the shower. She can't be at Ronnie's beforehand and help out. And she'll be bored at home. Why don't you guys take her out to a nice lunch or something?" I suggested.
"Ummmm what?" Archie asked.
"Come on Archiekins! If you don't, you can't come." Veronica pouted.
"But I don't really want to come. Its a babyshower." He whined. Jughead pinched him. "Ow!"
"Don't worry, Bets. We'll take her out to a nice lunch or something." Jughead stated. "And you're going, Arch." He glared at Archie.
"Ok! Awesome!" I clapped my hands. "I'm seriously SO excited."
"As long as Sabrina the teenage witch isn't there, it'll be fun," Cheryl smirked. Oh yeah. The new girl Sabrina was still banned from pretty much everything. I could, tell she felt really bad about it though. And honestly, I felt kind of bad for her.
"Right. She won't, don't worry." I reassured Cheryl. "Alright! Break!" I joked. I felt like we were the party planning committee from the Office or something. Jughead and I walked home from school together. Even though it was just hitting November, the weather was still nice, Fall weather. Just a little chilly. Sweater weather really. I held onto Jughead's arm as we walked back.
"Saturday is going to be so much fun though, Juggie." I sighed.
"Yes. Super fun. Guessing the baby's weight and what chocolate is smashed in the diaper. Ah. Fun times." Jughead laughed.
"Whatever." I rolled my eyes.
"No really, Bets, it'll be great." He reassured me. "It's so weird that you're so close to being an aunt. That we're so close to having a baby living at home."
"Yeah. It's really bizarre and surreal. Especially seeing how huge Polly has gotten. Like, I don't know how she hasn't exploded yet honestly." I laughed.
"Yeah." Jughead chuckled too. "I wonder if the kid will have red hair or blonde."
"Yeah I don't know. I hope he looks more like Polly, because honestly, Jason was a funny looking guy." I shuddered, while Jughead laughed.
"He really was, wasn't he?" Jug smiled. We continued to walk back to our house in peace that day. If only we were allowed to live in Riverdale peacefully forever...

It was finally Saturday. The guys had taken Polly out for lunch and Veronica, Cheryl, Kevin, and I were setting up the Lodge's apartment.
