"You bitch!" Veronica yelled on the Andrew's front lawn, as she stood over a stunned Cheryl Blossom. Cheryl had her hand covering her face. Her nose was bleeding from Veronica's punch.
"Guys! Please stop it!" I cried, as I rushed out to them.
"I can't stand her anymore, Betty. I've tried to play nice for far too long now, because she's also the aunt of your nephew. Her underhanded comments were one thing- but sleeping with my boyfriend is another. Who knows how she persuaded him?" Veronica explained angrily.
"I know." I whispered. "But this is my gender reveal party, and quite frankly I've already had a really long day. I don't need to add more stress onto my plate right now, ok?" I calmly asked, my hand on her shoulder.
"I didn't persuade him, you baboon. He asked me." Cheryl smirked, as she casually wiped the blood off of her nose, and rose up.
"Why you little!" Veronica shrieked, as I tried my best to hold her back from pouncing onto Cheryl. Thankfully, Archie and Jughead had rushed out onto the lawn at this point.... along with everyone else at the party.... and just about the entire neighborhood. Great. Just another scene in the neighborhood again. At this point, these disturbances were becoming normal. Archie rushed over to see if Cheryl was ok. Jughead, who had JJ in one arm, walked over to help me restrain Veronica. "Archie?" She questioned. "How... how could you?" I could see the tears starting to well up in her eyes. Archie didn't reply, he just looked at the ground rather intensely. There was an awkward silence for a few minutes. The air was tense.
"I don't know, Ronnie. I'm sorry." Archie said lowly. Jughead and I had let Veronica go. She walked right up and smacked Archie. I suppose he did deserve it. Then she angrily walked off.
"Don't anyone even dare think about following me," Veronica yelled, raising a hand as she walked off to who-knows-where.
"Good going, Arch." Jughead sassed. "Come on, Betty. Let's go try to enjoy the rest of our daughter's party." Our daughter. I almost forgot that we were having a baby girl. But I also wasn't in the mood to celebrate.
"Hey, Andrews!" Reggie walked up to him and clapped him on the back. "Nice job. Two cheerleaders? SCORE!"
"Ugh. Reggie, you're such a scum bag." Midge scoffed, as she and Moose came up to me and Jughead. "I'm sorry, Betty. But I think Moose and I should go." She placed a hand on my shoulder.
"It's fine, I understand." I replied.
"Congrats on baby Polly." She hugged me.
"Thanks. And thanks so much for coming! Sorry it ended on a rough note."

Soon, pretty much everyone had left the party. Jughead, JJ, and I had headed back over to our house. I was trying to get JJ ready for bed, by rocking him in a rocking chair. As I rubbed his back with my thumb, I thought about the crazy events of the day. Maybe that's why Veronica accused Jughead of cheating- because she suspected Archie of doing it. She wasn't really thinking Jughead would cheat on me.... she was just subtly voicing her fear out loud about Archie. I heard a light knock on the open nursery door and I was jolted out of my thoughts.
"Knock, knock." Jughead was leaning against the doorframe, both hands in his pockets. My husband is the sexiest man alive, I swear.
"Hey, Babe." I whispered. "I think JJ is finally falling asleep." Jughead nodded and came over to pick him up and put him in his crib. I got up and walked over to the crib. Then I held onto Jughead's arm tightly as we overlooked the crib.
