Last night, it was the first time in weeks that I didn't have any nightmares. My parents were on their way to prison. Cheryl Blossom was surprisingly trying to treat Polly and the baby like family. Jughead and I were doing better than ever, not that we ever did horribly to begin with, but I was liking where we were at. And the only problem with life was trying to figure out who killed Jason Blossom. Or so the moment would have it seem...

I turned over in my bed and snuggled up to Jughead. He sleepily threw his arms around me and pulled me closer to him. He then preceded to kiss the top of my head. I giggled into his chest.

"Stop it," Jughead laughed lightly.

"Wait, stop what?" I asked him, still half asleep.

"Stop being so darn adorable, Betty Cooper," He whispered, the warmth of his breath tickled my ear. I giggled again. "See, you're being all cute again." He poked me, and I jumped back out of his arms in surprise. Jughead took advantage of this and quickly pecked me on the lips.

"Now you have to stop being so cute, Juggie," I giggled.

"Since when is Jughead Jones cute?" He joked and pulled me against his chest again. "Also, I'm cold and you can't leave this bed until I'm all warmed up."

"Would you warm up if I went and made you some breakfast?" I asked, even though I myself didn't quite want to leave the bed yet.

"Depends. Can we make out after?" He semi-joked.

"I wish. But we have school today, Babe." I pouted.

"Ew. Don't you think that after all that happened this weekend, they'd let you take a few days off? It was pretty traumatically eventful." Jughead said, placing a gentle kiss on my forehead.

"I wish. But I need to get back into reality."

"But Bettyyyyy," Jughead whined. "Stay in bed with meeee. Don't leaveee. I'll.... I'll even skip breakfast if it means staying in bed with you longer." I turned to look at him.

"You? Skipping breakfast? For me?!" I asked. "Wow, you must really love me." I kissed him on the lips.... Which may have led to a slight makeout session until...

*KNOCK KNOCK*

Jughead and I jumped apart quickly.

"Come in," I called. The doorknob turned and Polly came in.

"Hey Betty are you going back to school today?" She asked. She was dressed in a pink tshirt and pink pajama pants, with little frills at the end. "Because I was debating about if I should go or not." She started mindlessly rubbing her stomach.

"Well, you've missed the whole semester so far. I mean, it's up to you, but you'll have a lot of catching up to do. I won't tell you one way or the other, but I mean midterms are already right around the corner." I blatantly told her.

"Yeah, I think I might take a semester off, since I haven't been there at all this semester. I can still pick it up next semester though."

"I think that's a good idea." I smiled. "But... I think I'm gonna go today. I need to get back to the 'ol grind."

"Ugh. I keep trying to convince her that she should take off for half of the week. Midterms are next week, Baby." Jughead said, placing his hands behind his head.

"I know. But I want to be prepared. And you're coming too, Mr. Jones." I got out of bed. "Are you okay if I go back, Polly?" I had completely brushed aside how she must have felt about all of this.

"I'll most definitely be fine, Betty. Don't worry about me." She smiled and left the room, shutting the door behind her.

"Oh good. She's finally gone. Now where were we?" Jughead asked, as he got out of bed and hugged me from behind.
