Jughead and I cautiously walked over to the whirlpool the shark had disappeared into.

"Is he... gone?" I ask.

"I think... so." Jughead replied. Then he looked up and around the cave. "So how do we get out?" I scanned the area and saw the amazing waterfall. It was cascading down the mouth of the cave. It shimmered and glittered in perfection. Without realizing it, I had walked up closer to it, and reached my hand out to touch it. A grin swept across my face. "Betty," Jughead whispered in my ear. "I know, it's gorgeous and we've been looking for a waterfall the entire week... but we really need to find that volcano to destroy this amulet." He was standing behind me and placed a hand on my shoulder, sending shivers up my spine.

"Ok. But just one picture, please?" I asked. I enthusiastically turned around to smile for the picture, and Jughead walked away from me to take the photo on his phone. Then he grinned enthusiastically. "What?"

"I wish I could give you an entire photoshoot right here. You look amazing, the waterfall looks amazing, and the nighsky is perfect too. Everything is just about perfect." He walked up to me and planted a long-lasting kiss on my lips. "Too bad we have to go defeat the shark god." He said in a low voice.

"Yeah." I said in the same tone. "Do you think saving the world can wait a few extra minutes?" I looked at his lips, then upward to meet his gaze. He smirked at me.

"I wish it could, Bets." He kissed my forehead and then walked behind the waterfall.

"What? What are you doing?" I asked, half laughing. I saw him feel up and down the wall of the cave. Eventually, he pressed a button that was sticking out of the wall. Then he casually leaned against the wall, with his arms crossed, a smug look written all over his face.

"Nothing. Just finding secret passageways out of this place." He replied. I walked over to him, but scanned the cave room one last time before leaving it.

"I'm going to always remember you, cave! I promise!" I joked. But for real though, I would never forget this place. It was amazing.

"Come on. Let's go exploring... but also find that volcano." Jughead said, taking my hand, as we carefully walked into the maze that he had just opened. It was dark, but not nearly as dark as the cave that we were just in. Jughead shone his phone's flashlight into the new cave. After what felt like forever, we had come to a dead end.

"How are we supposed to get out now? It's all cold... and dark..." my voice trailed off, as I held onto myself tightly.

"Hold on a sec." Jughead searched the wall and found another button, but this time, a booby trap came out from the wall and locked over his hand. "AHHH?" He screamed. Then I saw a giant boulder rolling at full speed from where we had just come from.

"Shoot. What do we do?" I freaked out.

"Wait, my hand is holding something.... if I turn it just the right way...."

"Jughead... hurry... the boulder is coming right at us!" The boulder continued rolling towards us. It was less than ten feet away...

"It's not..."

"AHHH Jughead!" I screamed.

*CLICK*

Jughead's hand was set free, and the door opened in front of us. We burst into the new room, and the boulder immediately smashed into the wall behind us, blocking us from ever heading back the way that we came.

"Are you ok, Juggie?" I placed a gentle hand on his arm. He was panting, and had his hands on his knees, but he still nodded.

"Yeah. Let's go forward... I guess." He quickly straightened up and dusted himself off. I nodded and we went further and further into the cave. Things were starting to look more cave-like. There were more stalactites and stalagmites. Thankfully, there seemed to be an exit up ahead. We stopped at the mouth of the cave. It was extremely dark outside. I saw the night sky and all the stars above us. On the ground, there were lots of palm trees, and a path that led straight to the ocean. I suddenly realized how parched I had become. Too bad the ocean was salt water. "Let me poke my head out and make sure that it's safe, first." Jughead slowly stuck his head out of the cave. Then he started tiptoeing out into the open. He searched the area, then motioned that it was safe for me to come out. I nervously walked out and grabbed Jughead's hand.
