Sapphire heard a buzz from her phone as she was reading a book. Opening the home screen, she noticed it was a party invitation
'Come on down to ------ to have the night of your life! Sour Cream's having a party and everybody's invited!'
Sapphire muttered to herself .
"Mhm sure. Best night of my life, huh?"
She scoffed and continued reading.
Then she got another messageThen another
Then two more
She got a total of ten messages in the end, all telling her to come to Sour Cream's party.
For some odd reason, she felt as if she needed to go, as if she was required to, so she sighed and gave in, going to her closet to pick out a dress for the event. After all, it was just a stupid party.
She wouldn't have to worry about it until the end of the week.

The end of the week came way too soon, leaving Sapphire stressed and overwhelmed with trying to get schoolwork out of the way to go to the party. They still had three weeks until Summer, but exams and projects would take time, time that would be taken up by a party, so it was only logical to make it so far away from the actual beginning of Summer.
As she finished up her last essay of the day, she contemplated whether or not she actually wanted to go.
'What if something bad happens?'
She thought to herself.
'What if no one talks to me?'Before she could even finish predicting every awful outcome, she got a message on her phone.
'Don't forget, tonight's the big party Sour Cream is holding!'
She sighed and began to get ready.
"I can't believe I'm doing this."
