Ruby and Sapphire decided to go back home, so they packed up and got on the road. On the long ride back home, Ruby fell asleep and Sapphire had to drive. Everything went alright, and when they got back, Ruby told her mom that she was with Sapphire in a romantic way and that they would be moving in together. Ruby's mother only nodded and admitted that she had known they were together since the night that Ruby forgot to close the door in her room while she and Sapphire were making out. Ruby blushed and giggled, and Sapphire hid her face. They agreed to still meet up from time to time and then headed to Sapphire's apartment.

Home.

It felt so great to be back. They almost immediately laid down together in the bed and sighed in unison.
"So," Sapphire started, "what was your favorite part of the trip?"
"You." Ruby cooed, making the shorter girl laugh and playfully shove her arm.
"Be serious." She chuckled.
"Okay, okay. My favorite part was when we were on the Ferris wheel. It felt really calm, and I liked that. What was yours?"
"The lake."
"Me, too."
"Ruby, you just said your favorite part was the Ferris wheel."
"The whole thing was my favorite part."
"Even when the guy was flirting with me yesterday?"
"Especially when he was flirting since I got to break his knuckles and show you how strong I can be."
They both giggled, the laughter quieting down until they just stared at each other, smiling widely.
"You're the strongest." Sapphire whispered.

"Actually, you're the strong one." Ruby whispered back.
