"He's got great taste." Douglas smiled oogling Lyra's body as the waiter presented her the bill. Lyra paid then turned to Douglas.

"Oh Douglas, did you want my number?" Lyra smiled.
"Nah, your mother gave it to me."
"Can I see?" Lyra asked and he dug out his phone to show her. Lyra looked over his shoulder. "Look at that, my phone number. You should delete that!" Lyra ordered. Douglas laughed. She grabbed his phone and tossed it into the fish pond.

"Mother, why did you give Christopher my number and keep telling him where I am?" Lyra frowned.
"Did he find you?" Her mother asked eagerly.
"Yes." Lyra huffed, ignored her mother's enthusiasm and Larry's disgruntled sound when they heard Lyra had been in contact with Christopher.
Lyra sighed. "I wish I could tell myself that you meant well but you obviously don't care who I end up with. You can continue giving out my number, I'm changing it and you aren't getting it. This is also the last time you try to push some unknown person into my bed." Lyra turned back to Douglas while her mother huffed about Lyra throwing a tantrum.

"For the record, if you try to touch me again I will permanently damage if not slice off your hands, arms and any other body part that comes within my reach." Lyra narrowed her eyes at him.

Douglas moved away from her and she smiled warmly, then nodded to Ashlie.

"It was lovely to see you again. Mr. Via, Mrs. Via. Please excuse us." Ashlie said to indicate they were leaving. Lyra's parents nodded but didn't take their eyes off of Lyra.

"Enjoy your meal." Lyra walked over to her parents as Ashlie and Larry stood up. "Good to see you, Daddy." Lyra kissed her Dad's cheek. "Goodbye Mother." She kissed her mother's cheek then left. Her mother glared at them as they walked away.

Lyra was livid.

"Ly calm down. She just wants you to be happy." Ashlie tried to calm Lyra.
"Ha! She never has in the past." Lyra replied. "I'm going to Queen's."
"Oh no you dont! You can't! I'm working on getting us into the VMA after party. You have to come with me, please?" Ashlie begged.
"Ash," Lyra sighed. "I know it's part of your business to networking with the whose who but I don't care about rubbing elbows with celebrities."
"No buts, you're coming." Ashlie said opening her car door and pushing her in.

"You no say he propose to you." Larry said as Lyra got out the car.

Lyra rolled her eyes and Ashlie pulled him aside, "She doesn't like to talk about him."
"Why?" Larry asked following Ashlie inside.
"He's ab..." Ashlie started.
"What's the favor you want Larry?" Lyra asked loudly essentially talking over Ashlie as a sign to shut her mouth. Larry's phone rang. Ashlie walked away to make her own phone call.

"You can tell me afterwards." Lyra walked into the living room and sat on the couch.

Lyra frowned as Larry sat right beside her a second later, his phone silently ringing in his hand.

"You going to talk at some point." Lyra sighed not relishing the fact that she agreed to owe Larry, of all people, a favor. He leaned back closing his eyes.

"Look, I don't want this hanging over my head forever. Spit it out already," Lyra sighed. He smiled at her and scooted closer.

"Stop being weird." She moved away from him.
"Why you say you not seeing anyone?" Larry asked.
Lyra smiled, "Because I'm not."
Larry was confused by Lyra's smile.
"But last night with my brother?" Larry asked.
"He only wants sex from me." She smiled.
"And?" He asked staring at her.
"I am not that type of girl." She scrunched her eyebrows and scoffed at him for implying she was.

Larry sat there not saying anything.

Lyra sighed, "What's the favor Larry?"
"I need a few days." He answered crossing his arms over his chest.
"What? Why?" Lyra knew he was planning something diabolical.
"Alright! I just confirmed the invites to the party a week from Thursday night!" Ashlie announced as she walked into the living room. Then frowned at Lyra glaring at Larry.

"What is going on?" Ashlie asked.
"Larry wants more time to figure out his favor." Lyra replied. "I mean why ask if he didn't have something in mind."
"Oh 'kay. Can you both go or not?" Ashlie asked.
"Sure." Lyra responded and Larry nodded.

Lyra told Ashlie if she was going to this party next Thursday she had to leave today to handle some business and Ashlie agreed. Lyra grabbed her stuff from the hotel and the next flight out.

Ashlie dropped Larry off at the hotel after Lyra left. He wondered if Laurent was there. He knocked on his brother's door but no one answered.

He shrugged then headed to his room. His body was really feeling the workout he had earlier and last night. He stripped down and stood under the hot water. He scrubbed himself clean and let the hot water beat on his shoulders while he thought about what favor to ask Lyra.

He was going to ask her to leave his brother alone but once he found out they already broke up he wasn't sure what to ask.

Laurent knocked on the door as Larry was getting dressed.

"You have my phone." Laurent said as soon as Larry opened the door. Larry grabbed the phone off the table and tossed it to Laurent. Laurent caught it and sat in the chair instead of leaving.

"What Lau?" Larry huffed pulling his shirt over his head.

"I fucked up." Laurent replied.
"What you mean?" Larry grumbled as he sat on the bed.

Laurent thought back to last night with Lyra. She told him some things about her past. At first he thought she was joking but she never seemed more serious. Some of the things that she said made him think about Ashlie differently.

He remembered what his sister said to him after his birthday dinner. Lyra wasn't looking for right now, she was looking for someone to build a future with. He had to decide if that's what he wanted too. If not, he needed to move on and leave her alone.

He just wanted to get to know her a little better before he made the decision. Now he knew more about her than he could have ever imagined.

After talking to her last night, he dreamed about Lyra chasing him screaming she loved him but when he looked back she was in the arms of another guy. He wanted to curse her out but she was crying. He called out to her but she wouldn't look at him. The guy disappeared and she was holding a baby. She softly said his name and collapsed. Laurent ran towards her screaming her name.

He held Lyra while she held a baby in her arms. A beautiful baby girl with chubby cheeks sucking her fist suddenly her brothers and sisters gathered around calling her mommy.

"Lau, what happened?" Larry began to worry because his brother was sitting there with his head in his hands. "What? You forget us have to work?" Larry tried to fight a yawn. Laurent shook his head no and Larry sighed dropping back on the bed.

Lyra had an unfamiliar effect on Laurent. He tried to understand it but it was new and he wasn't sure he liked it. He inhaled deeply.

"How you fuck up?" Larry started thinking the worst the longer his brother stayed quiet.

"I smell ..." Laurent sniffed again.
"Okay, go wash!" Larry yelled thoroughly irritated that he got worried for nothing.
"Lire." Laurent glared at his brother. "You with Lire?"
"I stay with Ashlie." He responded. "You leave with Ly. You okay?"
"I smell her on you." Laurent quickly replied.
"You sound crazy, I smell like my soap." Larry looked at his brother and frowned.

Laurent got closer but Larry glared at him.
"You need to sleep." Larry pushed Laurent to the door. Laurent smelled him again and Larry did smell like soap.
"Yeah ok. Thanks for my phone." Laurent returned to his room and Larry crawled into bed.

A while later Larry woke up hungry. He called his brother's room to see if he wanted to get something to eat.

"Lire!" Laurent answered.
"You hungry?" Larry asked ignoring what his brother just said.
"Yeah, I meet you downstairs." Laurent said then hung up.
