Tears were rolling down her face and she nodded yes the whole time he spoke, she opened her mouth and a choked yes came out as she kissed his face. She said yes a little louder as she continued to kiss his face after the ring was on her finger then hugged him.
The applause from the other customers reminded them that more than Larry and Catarina were watching. Laurent sat in his chair, still holding her hand.
The waiter brought four glasses of non alcoholic champagne Catarina ordered.
Larry was the first to congratulate her. “For my new little sister, Liara!” He raised a glass.
Lyra smiled and raised her glass with everyone else. They all took a sip and Laurent pulled his chair closer to Lyra. Lyra leaned against Laurent still feeling on edge about what was coming but enjoying the comfort of knowing he was there with her.
“I think we should get going, Patatina and I have an appointment and you both have a fitting to get to.” Catarina stood. Laurent kissed Lyra and Larry hugged her goodbye.

Larry and Laurent had fun picking outfits and masks for the masquerade ball. They laughed and joked until Lyra texted Laurent their ride was waiting outside.

“Bourgeois?” King asked as they walked out of the alterations shop.
Larry stepped back nervously pulling Laurent with him. Keisha stepped out the car.
“Larry, nice to see you're still breathing.” Keisha smiled as Laurent pushed Larry behind him. “Relax, I'm KK, that's King. Lyra sent us to pick you up.” Keisha opened the car door for them.
Larry nodded and got in the car. Laurent, knowing who they were and what happened between her and Larry, glared at his brother for a moment before deciding to follow.

That night, Sin and Suga were first to arrive at the party. Laurent and Larry arrived at the party next with Catarina, Wall and Gabby. King, Keisha and Candy arrived after them. Lyra arrived last. She walked into the party alone and walked around barely acknowledged by anyone.
