When Lucy arrived at Defloria, what she saw was really expected. The place was deserted and the town was in ruins. But, what supprised her was the dark swirling air around her. The trees were dead and there was no signs of animals. It was as if something- or someone had destroyed it.
"Hello? My name is Lucy Heartfillia, I was sent here to train with the demons by the dragons!" Lucy called out to the ruins. No reply. Walking on, Lucy walked near a shrub of dead leaves. Then the shrub wiggled. Quickly turning around, she chanted: "Fire Dragon's Roar!" as a blast of 5000 degrees fire glowed from her mouth. As the flames burned down, she noticed the shrub had burned down too.
As she continued walking on, the ruins shook and a sharp piercing sound played from the town. With her dragon's hearing, it sounded billions of times stronger than it acually was. Lucy covered her ears and as she did so, the screams of sound died out.
"Oh? You're still alive?"
Lucy's heart stopped.
