Rhett rose to his feet and held his hands out. "Hang on. What do you think we're going to do to stop it?"
Link forced his hands through his hair as he looked about wildly. "I don't think we're going to be able to stop it, not from what we saw before I fainted. But if we can't stop it, then we have to stop her. She didn't die, so she's definitely turning."
Rhett's heart pounded painfully in his chest, but he couldn't help but feel a rush of adrenaline jolt through his veins. He always felt that way when he went on an adventure with his friend. "You mean we're gonna have to contain her? Like a wild animal?"
Link pushed his glasses up on his face. His eyes scanned left and right as he read something that he'd clicked on. "Something like that."
"Hmm. I don't know how well she's going to like that, man. We haven't necessarily dealt with anything like this before. Everything's always been play and pretend."
"Yeah, no kidding," Link agreed as he raised his eyes to meet Rhett's. "Alright, so we want to find a way to keep her from shifting and killing anything with a beating heart, right?"
Rhett's eyebrows shot up his forehead as he nodded his head. "Well, yeah. Is there a way to do that?"
"Yes. According to this legend, the energy harnessed from the sun and left to steep in a confined space for approximately 2 hours is enough to send an electric current through a werewolf."
"Like a stun gun?" Rhett's voice took on a childish tone.
"Like a stun gun, but it has to be solar energy. It renders them incapable of shifting basically. So maybe we could pick up some solar lights tomorrow and let them sit out in the sun all day. They should be ready for the full moon." Link nodded his head at his own plan. "Plenty of time, plenty of energy."
"I like the way you're thinking, man." Rhett snapped his fingers and wriggled his eyebrows at Link.
Link swallowed and he closed the laptop before he looked into Rhett's eyes. "I'm not too sure about what's really going on, but I feel an imminent threat of some sort. I feel like since we've seen something, we have to do something. We have to try."
Rhett nodded his head in agreement. "I couldn't agree with you more, brother. Let's get some sleep, alright? We'll record an episode tomorrow, and then we'll head out to find some solar lights. How does that sound?"
"Sounds like a plan."
Rhett took Link by the shoulders and looked him hard in the eyes. "Stay strong, alright?"
Link nodded his head, and Rhett turned and left the room. He knew exactly what Rhett had meant. If he had any more freak episodes throughout the night; stay calm.

The morning sunlight poured in through the window. It illuminated Link's face in a vibrant yet annoying ray, and he opened his eyes. He scrunched his nose before he opened his eyes, and he stretched with an exaggerated yawn.
Christy was in the bathroom and had been finishing her makeup before she turned on her heel to look at him. She approached the bed slowly, then took a seat right on the end. All he could do was stare at her, unable to explain yesterday's terrifying events. "Sweetheart," she said with a sigh. Link's throat wanted to close up on him. "Tell me what happened."
Link reached for his glasses and put them on his face before he propped himself up on his elbow. "I think I fainted."
"I know you did. I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about our bathroom, you screaming, then disappearing out of nowhere... Link." Christy made a face at her husband.
Link's eyes widened. "I don't know how to explain any of that, Christy. I guess I've been having bad nightmares lately."
Christy cocked an eyebrow and crossed her arms over her chest. "That sounds more like night terrors to me, Link. Why haven't you told me about them sooner?"
Link licked his teeth before he answered her. "It's hard to explain," he said blankly. He hoped she would drop the subject, and he watched as her face melted from disappointment to concern.
"I've never heard you scream like that before. Are you okay now?"
Link nodded his head with a smile. "I'm great right now!" He sat up and wrapped his arms around her and he pulled her toward him. She giggled and melted into his embrace. He rested his chin on top of her head.
"Just do me a favor and don't drive over the speed limit today," she remarked as she craned her head back to look up at him. He smiled and kissed her forehead.
"I promise I won't."
