Lily pulled three large beakers out of the case and then she reached for a white powdery substance. Taking the supplies to the nearest table, she dumped them onto the table and opened up the canister with the powder labeled phosphorescent powder. Bringing the beaker up to her face with one hand and the canister of powder in the other, she began lightly tapping the side of the canister as she tilted it slightly, making sure both of the openings matched up.

She watched as the powder trickled into the opening of the beaker, collecting at the bottom of the glass like sand in an hourglass. She then set the beaker and canister onto the table and reached for the bucket of paint, holding it in her hands as she read the label. Good thing the paint was oil based, so the standard glow powder would take just fine.

For the amount of powder that she poured into the beaker, she wanted to times that by five when pouring in the paint. Cracking open the bucket, she measured the right amount of paint and then poured it carefully into the beaker, making sure to stir it with a free hand with the opener she used for the paint so that it was completely lump free. She chose the color blue, and instantly as she was mixing the paint with the powder, it was glowing a vibrant neon blue. She grinned with satisfaction, capping off the beaker. The paint was good to use within an hour, so hopefully the boys should be finished with the first round of weapons before then.

She took to making two other beakers with two other colors, red and green. She imagined how cool it would be to see their dad's wielding a glow in the dark sword. She also imagined how amazing it would be to watch a werewolf cripple at the blight that these solar powered weapons would cause. She grinned to herself, capping off the final two and tucking the beakers into her bag. She then took to cleaning up the mess as best she could, as to make it look like she hadn't broken into the science lab. Slinging her bag over her shoulder, she marched out of the lab and closed the door behind her. When she turned around to begin heading down the hall, she froze in her tracks. She saw a tall figure dart from one end of the hall to the other, and for a moment she thought it might be Rhett. That they would be found out. She shook her head and tore off to the right, in the opposite direction of the wood room.

Panic flooded her chest as she veered a corner, and she paused to take a breath as she plastered her back to the wall. She looked up to see that she was by the ladies locker room, and when she peered down that hall, she couldn't see anything strange. But coming from the hall behind her, she could hear footsteps as they padded against the smooth floors. Her heart thundered in her chest and she let out a little cry as she ducked into the ladies locker room.

She couldn't let Rhett find her. Rhett should find the boys, so they would get in trouble. It was their idea to break into the school and sneak out of the house in the middle of the night anyway.

Once she was in the locker room, she sprinted toward the stalls and she ducked into one of them, shutting the door and locking it. She then moved to the toilet and hoisted herself up, tucking her feet underneath her as she hovered over the opening. She didn't want him to see her feet and think that she was in there. She slowed her breathing and tried to ignore the rapid beating of her heart so that she could listen.

She heard water dripping, pipes creaking, lockers settling, the wind howling outside... But she didn't hear any footsteps. The silence allowed her to relax, but that only lasted a minute when she heard the locker room door open. She sucked in a breath, bringing her hands over her mouth, her eyes wide. She watched as a pair of booted feet walked past the stalls, her heart racing so hard in her chest that she was sure it was going to come out of her mouth.

They definitely didn't look like the shoes that Rhett normally wore, which were high tops. Her heart froze and she dropped her hands, her lips trembling. She had to think fast. She knew she was fast on her feet, so maybe she could just burst out of the stall and run for her life. There was no telling who was in the locker room with her. She slowly dropped her feet to the floor and she quickly unlatched the door, making a beeline for the exit.

"Lily." The bone chilling voice caused her to freeze right before she was about to grasp the handle, her heart thundering once more in her chest. She felt her cheeks burn up as she slowly turned her head.

Stepping out of the shadows was the man that nearly killed her.

"Leaving so soon without a little chat? I thought your father would have taught you better manners than that."
