Link skidded to a stop in front of them, his eyes widening. Terra ran in past Chase and lowered herself to the ground in front of Jackson. Rhett snapped his head up so he could look at Terra and Terra could look at him. Jackson immediately began growling, his eyes shifting to a dull grey color. Terra simply bared her teeth, grabbing him by a tuft of his hair.

"You helped to destroy what little family I had left, and if you're not going to comply, I'm going to happily kill you. Now get up to your feet," she demanded.

Rhett moved off of his back, grasping his arms and pinning them tight to his back. He went from a kneeling position on his knees to full on standing on his feet, glowering at Terra like he wanted to rip her apart. She grabbed onto the back of his neck and Rhett's eyes widened when he saw the claws extended. The fury within her must have been what triggered it. This was exactly how he wanted it to go. It was going to be great having a werewolf on his side.

Link could see the odd satisfaction in Rhett's eyes and he raised an inquiring brow, not daring to mention it right now. They needed to get Jackson inside and restrained before he became too daring and tried to make an escape.

They walked up to the door, Link and Chase in the lead so they were the first two people they would see when the door opened. Link opened the door and his heart dropped when he saw everyone seated in the living room, looking beside themselves. Stevie flew up to her feet and began trotting toward Link, when he held his hand up with a warning look in his eyes. Rhett and Terra marched past him with Jackson in tow, and everyone looked at Jackson like he had three heads. Alex pointed to Jackson with the question in his eyes and Link shook his head with the look in his eye that hopefully gave way that he would explain in due time.

Rhett and Terra led Jackson into the kitchen and forced him into one of the chairs.

Terra shook her head, giving Rhett a look.

"This isn't going to work. He's going to bust this chair."

Rhett nodded his head in agreement and they forced him up again, him snarling and complaining the whole way. Fortunately for them he was still weak and dazed from being knocked out so it was a much easier feat than anticipated. Rhett led the both of them downstairs to the basement, and his eye caught a pipe in the far corner of the room, still attached to the wall. He marched over to it and forced Jackson onto the floor behind it, Jackson hitting his head off of the wall. Jackson growled and made to lunge at Rhett, but Terra threw herself in front of him and pinned him down by the shoulders, snarling in his face. Rhett straightened himself up, looking around the room to find something to restrain him with. This was the part of the plan that he hadn't been prepared for, and he mentally kicked himself.

He heard the front door open upstairs and his heart froze in his chest.

"Hi Link. Is Rhett here? I'd actually like to have a word with the both of you." It was Baker. Why was Baker here? Rhett face palmed with a sigh, realizing Link could have been right and his phone had been tracked. They were in big trouble now.

Rhett looked at Terra.

"Terra, do you think you can hold him down for a minute while I run upstairs?"

Terra nodded her head, a question in her eyes. He took off up the stairs, three at a time, and burst into the kitchen. He tore off toward the living room and nearly collided with the sheriff. Baker stumbled backward with a bewildered look in his eyes.

"Can I please borrow your handcuffs?" Rhett blurt out, and everyone in the room looked taken aback. Baker arched an eyebrow with a tilt of his head, slowly lowering his hand to his belt.

"Why do you need to -,"

"Thanks, I really owe you one!" Rhett said as he swiftly snatched the handcuffs off of Baker's belt, Baker crying out in surprise. He tore off back toward the kitchen and down the stairs, breathless as he made it to the basement. Terra was sitting on top of Jackson's chest, looking at her nails as if she were filing them.

"Oh hi Rhett," she said casually, and Jackson roared. She delivered a pounding to his chest and he coughed, and Rhett darted over to them and didn't hesitate to clasp one end of the cuffs around his wrist and the other around the pipe. He heaved a huge sigh, doubling over to try and capture his breath.

"Now what?" Terra asked with a hint of fear in her eyes, knowing the sheriff was there. Rhett craned his neck to look at her, still doubled over.

"I figure out what the sheriff could possibly want."
