"Link! Link, honey wake up! It's just a dream! It's just a dream!" Christy was shouting past Link's screaming, trying to overpower it. It was nothing compared to the shrillness and she finally gave up and covered her ears with her hands.

Rhett flew into the bedroom, flipping the light on and rushing to Link's side of the bed. He had way too much experience with this to know what to do to get Link to calm down. Link's eyes were open and he was screaming, writhing in the bed as if he had been touched with an electric fence.

Rhett climbed on to the bed on top of him and held him down by the shoulders. "Link, come on buddy. Snap out of it. You're alright, everything is going to be alright. Link!"

Link continued on and Rhett shook his head, clearing his throat.

"LINK!" Rhett shouted, his face reddening as he elongated the annunciation of his name.

Link gasped for breath, pausing mid scream. After a few seconds he reduced to whimpers, eyeing Christy and Rhett with terror in his eyes. Rhett was looking down at Link with concern in his eyes.

"What the hell was that for? What happened?" Rhett knew something happened and Link was experiencing it in another kind of way.

Rhett felt a surge of hope, wondering if Link was having a premonition about Jessie. Although the scream usually meant that something bad was going to happen, as it normally did when he screamed before, he had hope that they could stop it before it became that.

"Please answer me, buddy. What's going on."

Link shuddered, feeling his heart beating out of control in his chest. His lips were trembling something fierce. "Allison," he said in a whisper, and Rhett narrowed his eyes, his face etched in total horror. Why did he say Allison's name? Link didn't know anything about Allison, because Rhett hadn't had the chance to tell him yet.

"What about Allison?" Rhett suddenly asked, his shoulders tensing.

"I know where her body is," Link trembled as he spoke, struggling to choke the words out.

Rhett froze with his eyes wide. "Her... Her BODY?"

Link only nodded his head and Rhett shuddered. They needed to notify the police immediately.

By the time Link had stopped freaking out and was calm enough to spit those chilling words out, all of the kids had woken up. They huddled together by Link's bedroom door, their faces tinted white, etched with horror. Link looked to Christy with a look in his eyes and she quickly nodded her head, throwing the covers off of her and stepping into her slippers. She walked over to them and gently ushered them out of the room, taking them downstairs to make them a mug of hot chocolate. It was five am at this point, and there was just no sense in sending them back to bed just to wake up a few hours later. It had been one crazy night, and it was only the beginning.

Rhett paced back and forth for a few moments with his hands on his hips, a contemplative look on his face. His eyebrows were scrunched together, his bottom lip sticking out as a hundred and one thoughts seized his capability of rational thinking. He needed to believe that Link's premonition had merit to it, because every other premonition that he had came true. Which meant that he needed to get in touch with law enforcement immediately, namely the sheriff. Allison's case was something he held dear to his heart, and he would want to know that Link possibly had information that could lead to her whereabouts. Although Rhett was certain that was not how Baker wanted to find the girl.

He finally stopped pacing and took a deep breath, glancing at Link who was sitting on the edge of the bed. He had his hands in his lap and he was twiddling with his fingers, an absentminded glaze over his eyes. The sheen of sweat that glossed his facial features was evident of the horrific nightmare he'd just encountered, and Rhett wished there was something he could do to make it all stop. To make everything go away and return to normal again. Link heaved an unsettled breath before locking eyes with Rhett.

"We should call the police," Link spoke quietly.

Rhett moved to sit on the bed next to Link, a look of curiosity gleaming in his eyes. "We'll do that, but we're gonna have to be able to prove that there's a body to begin with. Where did you see the body?"

Rhett tried to compose himself in a calm enough manner as to not freak Link out.

Link was the one with all of the answers after all. "It was in this run-down, ramshackle house that looked like your typical horror movie setting. The place looked like it hadn't been lived in for at least a decade."

Rhett's eyes widened in recognition and he tapped Link on the shoulder. "That's sounds eerily like the same house Baker took me to the other day. We should go investigate it and see what we can find!"

Link narrowed his eyes. "You've been to this place before?"

"Yeah. I'll take you there, come on." Rhett took Link gently by the arm and helped him off of the bed, and the two of them sauntered down the stairs together. The moment they emerged into the kitchen, Christy ran up to them and pulled them aside.

"Who is Allison? What does he mean he knows where her body is?" Christy was talking in harsh whispers, her arms crossed over her chest, her eyes wild with the burning curiosity.

"Allison Young is a missing person's case that's been ongoing for the past decade. We think Link had another one of his premonitions and he knows where her body is."

"Meaning she's dead?" Christy concluded for Rhett, and Rhett solemnly nodded his head. Christy's mouth hung open as the apparent shock left her and robbed her of her breath. "I don't understand. Why is he having premonitions about this strange girl that we don't even know about, when our best friend Jessie is out there somewhere probably freezing?"

Link's eyes stung as the tears crept up on him, a lump filling the back of his throat.

Rhett narrowed his eyes at Christy. "Listen, this isn't something that Link can just turn on and off at will alright," he snapped, his tone an octave higher than he had intended. The kids had swiveled in their seats and looked in their direction as the adults continued their heated discussion in the dining room.

Link opened his mouth because he wanted to add his two cents about the situation. "Why," he gasped, clutching at his chest and lowering his head. Rhett held his hand out and steadied Link by the shoulder, concern laced in his eyes. "Why am I always screaming?" He looked into Rhett's eyes as the tears threatened to spill over.

Rhett began rubbing his back consolingly. "I don't know, man. I really don't. But the answer has got to be out there somewhere, right? Maybe it's at that house, who knows. You have to have a connection of some sort to have these kind of premonitions, right?"

Link raised an eyebrow at this, dabbing the corner of his eye with his hand.

"Think way back to the first premonition you had about Terra. You found out she was a childhood friend of yours. I'm willing to guarantee that all of the premonitions after that have had some sort of connection or another to someone or something."

Christy seemed to be lost in thought, but Link was nodding his head. It was starting to make sense to him now. It was all loosely based off of connections. Christy shook her head and hugged herself.

"So now what?" She asked, her voice small.

Rhett stood tall, his chest slightly puffed out. He had an air of authority to him that Link hadn't noticed before, and he felt safe. "Me and Link are gonna go check to see if there is indeed a body. If there is, then we need to notify the police and have them bring in the CSI."

Christy looked taken aback, shaking her head. She had no idea how Rhett could be calm about this, how he could be okay with this knowing his own wife was out there missing.
