Rhett sent Link on the search for something to restrain Jackson with while he sat and watched him. Jackson's breathing was steady as he was so deep in unconsciousness that he might as well have been dead. Rhett balled up his fist and glanced at his knuckles, red and puffed out and tender to the touch from the blunt force of bone to bone.

He didn't know what came over him to possess him to pack such a powerful punch, but he was certain finding the little girl played a major hand in it. Rhett wouldn't hurt a fly, especially not another human being, but if there was enough reasonable cause he knew he would do what he had to. He shook his head at his own thoughts as he remembered that this wasn't your ordinary human being, this was a vile monster. A werewolf right from the books that taught children that they were scary, hideous, monstrous beings. This one was definitely a monster.

He glanced over his shoulder to see Link rummaging through the items on the floor, grimacing as he picked things up with the tips of his fingers like a crane and dropping them off to the side. As Link was bent over searching, Rhett lowered his eyes to Jackson once again. He had started murmuring and turning his head from side to side as if he was fighting a terror of the night in his subconscious. Rhett glanced over at Link nervously again, who happened to notice Jackson coming to and quickening his pace. Link's hand hit something solid and he pulled it up, revealing a cable reel. He gave Rhett a look holding the reel in his hands.

"That'll do," Rhett declared as he forced himself to his feet and took two steps toward Link. Link handed him the reel and Rhett began unwinding it. The metal scraped against the sides of the plastic reel and Link grimaced, Rhett peering at Link through his lashes as he continually unwound it. They didn't have any pliers to cut it with, so Rhett was going to have to improvise and use the entire roll somehow.

He marched back over to Jackson and waved with his hand to Link to help him sit him up. They sat him up, then pushed him onto his stomach so they had full access to the back of his wrists and ankles. He began to protest, but Rhett held a foot to his back as he bent over and began wrapping the wire tight around his wrists. He spun it around his wrists until every last inch of the wire was gone.

"What about his feet," Link pointed out, and Rhett gave a subtle shrug.

"This should be enough to hold him over until we can get him to your house. If I have to, I'll knock him out again." Rhett pulled Jackson up by the shoulders, pressing his knee against his back and scooping his hand under his chin, snapping his head back. His eyes began to flutter open, and Rhett grinned wickedly. "I'm only going to speak once. If you give either of us any problems, I will personally hand you to the Alpha myself. Got it?"

Jackson swallowed, his eyes fluttering as he danced on the line of unconsciousness. Link blinked several times, feeling his heart hiccup in his chest. He had never seen Rhett like that before. Link's breathing began to quicken, his chest rising and falling. Rhett peered over his shoulder at him with a look of concern in his eyes. He knew what was about to happen and he braced himself, squeezing his eyes shut.

Link screamed, tearing through the silent air like scissors through paper. The blueness that enveloped everything pulled away from the walls, spiraling toward his mouth in a vortex. Rhett's eyes widened, his mouth falling open. His eyebrows skyrocketed up his forehead and he couldn't peel his eyes away, watching as it all flew into his mouth and into his lungs. Link lurched forward and then he doubled over to catch his breath. Rhett hesitated for a few seconds before dipping his hand into his pocket, nonchalantly pulling it out to check the time. It had finally hit 9:03. Rhett's lips curled into a grin.

"You did it, Link!"

Link was heaving for breath, but he managed to kick up enough energy to give Rhett a thumbs up.

Chase tucked his hands into his pockets as he trailed up the stairs, his eyes furrowed in confusion. He had just stepped out of his car in front of this gorgeous house and he couldn't remember for the life of him why he had done so. He literally felt like he was trapped in some funky time warp, because he couldn't remember what happened for a few hours. He took his car to go out and ended up here, not remembering how or why. He shrugged it off as he took the last two stairs, bringing up his hand to knock on the door. He paused midway, bringing his hand up to his beanie to fix it on his head with a sigh.

What if he was experiencing some sort of amnesia? Had he hit his head in his sleep or something and he was at some place he wasn't supposed to be on accident? His phone buzzed in his pocket to break him out of his reverie, his heart skipping a beat in his chest. He answered the phone and Alex's urgent voice sounded over the other end.

"Dude where are you? You've been gone for like three hours!"

"I don't know man, I don't know where I am or how I got here! How did you know to call me?"

There was a pause on the other end, and Chase could hear Alex talking with Mike and somebody else. It sounded like Drew.

"Something really freaky happened. Like a blackout."

"And you can't remember where the last three hours of your life disappeared to, right?"

He could hear Alex gasp and a few of the crew members began to pipe up as speculations stirred. Becca suggested that there was an alien invasion and they had been kidnapped and experimented on. Kevin piped in and said that there could have been a band of witches that flew into Burbank on broomsticks and casted a memory spell on all of them. Mike was adamant that they had all just decided to take a nap and didn't want to admit that they were neglecting their duties to Link. Stevie threw in the possibility that the earth had stopped spinning, as anything was plausible at this point. Drew, Drew had a different idea. Drew thought that time had frozen and he was the only one that could remember what they had been doing before they lost three hours. He had snatched the phone from Alex.

"Remember that we're throwing a little surprise for Link and we're gathering friends to join?"

This seemed to jog Chase's memory and he nodded his head with an estranged look in his eyes. He still couldn't remember whose door he was standing in front of, and he shrugged it off.

"Alright, let me get this person in the car and we'll be over. Do we have everything we need?"

"Yeah, we've got the refreshments and decorations all set up. Everything should be good to go. See you in a bit."

"Right on that," Chase said before hanging up. He took a deep breath before bringing his knuckles up to the wooden door. He rapped on it a few times, taking a few steps back. His heart was thundering in his chest. He hoped it wasn't some big beefy, burly guy that was going to pummel him to the ground for interrupting his breakfast. When the door opened, Chase's jaw dropped and he felt his heart seize in his chest.

Standing in front of him was a girl dressed in a denim romper, a yellow cable knit cardigan draped over her shoulders. She wore brown ankle boots with a zipper in the back, and her hair was pulled back in a loose french braid with loose strands framing her fair face. She brought her hands up to her chest and her deep brown eyes began to water.

"Terra?" Chase asked, his voice sounding foreign to him.

Terra cried out and sprinted toward him, throwing her arms around his neck.
