Manan - Monster's star

Prologue

A girl is seen to be sneaking out of an orphanage early morning at around 4am, with a jar of fireflies in hand, her white salwar kameez is seen, the sound of her anklets in rhythm, her expressive eyes, her pouty lips are shown, every essence of her, more beautiful than the other, she reaches a lake and sits down, and starts talking to her jar of fireflies.
N: today's the big day, aiyappa i'm so nervous and yet so excited! Mujhe nahi pata ki mumbai mere liya kya leke ayega, but my heart says my life's going to change for the better. I'll miss this place, yeh jaga hai hi kitni khaas, bachpan mein amma, appa ke saath humesha yahan athi thi aur unke jaane ke baad bhi...

Introducing Nandini murthy, a girl with aheart so pure it could turn dust into gold. Just as she was talking to her jar of fireflies, she sees a body of a man in the water lying upside down, she gets worried.

N - aiyappa, yeh kon hai, ise kuch hua toh nahi hai? Hellloooooooo? Aap theek hai? Helloooo?

The body doesn't respond and nandini think he's unconscious. She jumps into the lake to save the guy. And as she grabs onto him, his face is shown, in the early sunrise, just enough for the girl to realise he is the most handsome man she'd ever seen in her life. Her heart started to beat faster than ever before. Introducing manik malhotra.

N - listen, did you drown? Are you okay?

The guy opens his eyes angrily, and for the first time looks at her, her now glistening face almost cast a spell on him, he was lost in her eyes just as much as she was in his. They had by now made a world of their own. Two perfect soulmates had come together for the first time. He breaks the eye contact and pushes her and walks away in ignorance, she looks at him in confusion as he walks out of the lake and picks up his tee shirt lying on the ground. Nandini gets out of the water after him.

N - hello? Aap theek hai na? Aap subah ke 4 baje yahan kya kar rahe the? Pani bhi kitni cold hai, i toh almost died! Waise aap akele hai yahan? I've never seen you before! (She said giggling)

Manik ignored her cuteness, and just as he got ready to leave...

N- hi i'm Nandini, nandini murthy! ( she held her hand in front of him in a friendly manner)

Manik stares at her for a second and walked past like she didn't exist.

N- arey wait! Aise kaise jaa rahe ho, maine tumhe bachayi and you're leaving? Atleast hi toh boldo!

(She said moving towards him when all of a sudden she fell, only to be supported by two strong arms, obviously of manik's. She looked at him and the both of them were again lost in each other's eyes, this time not realising that the ground was slippery. They fell together on the ground. Nandini started to laugh out loud, manik was lost in her laughter.)

N- hahahahahaa, are you okay? (She asked looking towards manik still smiling)

Manik got up without saying anything and got into his jeep, nandini gets up after him.

N- ek hi toh boldo? Who knows ki hum phir kabhi milenge ya nahi? Ek hi toh banti hai!

Manik drives off in his jeep without answering her, and while driving off looks at the surprised nandini on his rear mirror and thinks to himself)

Manik's Pov - a girl so beautiful, i could stare at her all day, but no, these feelings they are poisoness, i have no heart and she doesn't know that she just played with fire, i will never meet you again nandini.... nandini murthy)
