47~ The Malhotras reunite

Hey guysss!!! I knowwww i took the longest break from writing but I just didn't feel inspired and I didn't want to give you bad content!! Manik woke up in the morning and found him and nandini still in the baby's room. Nandini was still sleeping while hugging him tightly. Manik smiled and kissed her forehead he got up detaching himself from her and carried her to their bedroom and made her sleep on the bed. He took her hand and kissed it and whispered an "i love you" to which she smiled in her sleep.
Manik went downstairs and got to the kitchen.
M- kaka!! He said calling out to their servant.
M- aaj mujhe nandini ke liye breakfast banana hai!! Aap pls help karenge? I want everything to be perfect because breakfast aaj mera baby bhi khayega.
Kaka nodded and helped manik prepare a hefty meal for nandini.
Nandini had woken up by then and taken a shower. She came downstairs looking for manik.
She walked around the living room looking for him when she was stopped by two palms covering her face.
M- good morning.
She held her palms and smiled.
N- morning hubby! She tried taking his palms off her eyes but he stopped her.
M- not yet!!! He said kissing the side of her head.
M- chalo!! Surprise hai!
N- ok? She said giggling.

Manik took her to the dining table and made her sit down. He took his hands off and and smiled.
M- open your eyes!
Nandini opened her eyes to see a beautiful breakfast platter out in front of her. She looked at manik shocked.
N- yeh... sab.. tumne..
Manik nodded getting her drift.
M- acha tell me kaisa bana hai??
Nandini (still under shock) nodded and took a bit of each and everything and looked up at manik in shock.
M- aise kya dekh rahi ho? Acha nahi laga?
N- i can't believe ki yeh tumne banaya hai... she said in disbelief.
Manik chuckled and kissed her head.
Nandini smiled and held his hand and made him sit next to her.
N- mere saath khaona!
She fed him with her own hands. Manik and nandini were lost in their romance while feeding each other when neyonika and raj walked in to the house.
Raj saw manik and nandini and held his fist tightly while holding up a angered face.
Neyonika smiled slightly seeing how happy manik was. She observed how much he had changed.
Raj - Manik. He said aloud.
Manik froze recognizing his voice and looked ahead blankly trying to grasp over his thoughts.
He turned around slowly and saw raj standing in front of him smiling. Manik felt his eyes tear up. Nandini got up and held manik's shoulders for support.
Manik soon ran upto Raj and hugged him tightly.
M- dad i missed you so much! I'm so happy to see you! He said crying while hugging raj tightly.
Raj patted his back while looking at nandini seriously.
Nandini smiled with teary eyes feeling happy for manik.
Raj- ofcourse... i had to come... my one and only son left home, got married..... itna kuch hogaya and I was not informed about a single thing... he said sarcastically while breaking the hug.
Manik looked down in guilt.
M- dad i wanted to tell you... but sab kuch itna jaldi hogaya... you have no idea kya kuch hua mere saath while you weren't here....
Raj put his hand up in front of him interrupting manik from speaking.
Raj- it's fine manik... maine koi justifications nahi mange... i'm happy for you...
M- i'm sorry dad...
Raj- waise bhi apne bete ki khushi mein aaj raat ko maine ek party organize ki hai.... he said smiling.
Raj- you haven't been welcomed officially to this family right nandini? He said caressing nandini head with a artificial smile. Manik got happy seeing his dad finally accept him. He never had a good equation with him.
M- we'll be there dad! Manik chirped.
Raj and neyonika left soon after refusing to stay for lunch.

(In the evening)
Manik was getting ready in a royal black tux. He was looking beyond handsome. Nandini wore a beautiful peach sari highlighting her perfect figure. Manik stood behind her and looked at her longing like a kid adoring candy. Nandini saw him through the mirror and chuckled.
N- ghoor kya rahe ho manik... munh band karo warna you'll start drooling like a dog anytime soon. 😂
Manik got conscious and moved back controlling his building desires.
Nandini giggled and walked towards him and put her arms around his neck and traced her fingers of her skin.
N- kaisi lag rahi hoon main?
Manik understanding her tricks pulled her tight by her waist and locked her arms behind her back.
M- agar hume kahin jana nahi hota toh i would have eaten you up. He said coming dangerously closer.
Nandini had her breath increase. That intoxicating scent of his and her warm breathing on her neck was driving her crazy too.
N- m..maa..manik hum late hojayengee.. she managed to say.
Manik smiled and let her go and walked out smirking to himself while nandini stood there with her eyes wide open to register what had just happened.

(At the Malhotra mansion)

There were tons of guests, all of the Malhotra group business associates, friends, family, etc. the whole set seemed classy and royal.
Manik and nandini arrived there. Manik stopped before entering the mansion and looked on nervously. Nandini realised he what hr was feeling and held his hand and smiled at him in affirmation.
Manik nodded nervously and smiled back and entered in with Nandini by his side.
Raj noticed Manik and walked towards them with Neyonika.
Raj- manik!!! Finally so good to see you back home beta!
Manik hugged Raj. Neyonika moved forward to hug manik but manik put his hand forward stopping her with a serious face. Nandini saw neyonika dejected and the guests looking and went ahead and hugged her smiling. Neyonika hugged her back slightly feeling relieved.
R- ladies and gentlemen i would like to introduce you to the brightest talent of the future... my son the Manik Malhotra!!! Everyone cheered for manik and manik looked at raj happily finally attaining his acceptance.
Raj- enjoy the night everyone because now that manik is here i sure am!!! He said with a smirk while sipping on his glass of whiskey.
Everyone resumed to their business. Nandini felt bad as she had hoped that raj would introduce her to everyone but he didn't. Manik looked at nandini and realized what had happened and side hugged her.
M- nandini it's okay dad must have forgotten...
Neyonika ovserved nandini and understood that she had felt dejected and walked upto her.
Neyonika- i already know some of these people, main introduce karwao?
Nandini smiled and nodded surprised. Manik held nandini's hand back with a serious face.
N- manik it's okay i'll be fine. She whispered to him.
Manik was called on by Raj so he went upto raj but not before kissing nandini's forehead assuringly.

Neyonika took Nandini one by one to almost all the guests and introduced her well. Nandini observed her curiously.
Neyonika had made nandini meet the final set of people...
N- Neyonika.. she said softly.
Neyonika- hm?
N- why are you being so nice to me?
Neyonika looked on smiling slightly.
N- yeh sab achanak kyun?
Neyonika- i've only done wrong to Manik... that day jab tum ghar aye and i found out about your pregnancy... mujhe pehli baar realise hua ki manik was going to have a family of his own... uska khud ki ek duniya... I saw myself in you. Well atleast something i once was. Jab meri shaadi Raj se pehli baar hui thi... i always supported him... just like you do to manik. I know main uski mom kehne ki layak nahi hoon par tum meri madat kar sakti ho to return my son back to me nandini.
Neyonika held nandini's hand tightly. Nandini nodded in surprise.
N- aapne kahan ki you saw yourself in me.. par aap itne badal kaise gaye? 10 saal pehle jab main use mili thi, woh apne ghar ko hate karta tha.. jabhi main manik se puchthi thi about his mom uska mood kharab hojata tha.
Neyonika teared up.
Neyonika- i know... kuch hatse hamari zindagi ko badal deti hai... i was only 18 nandini jab maine raj se shaadi ki thi... mujhe laga ke woh mujhe sabse khush rakhenge par.. main galat thi..
N- matlab?
neyonika realised what she was going to say and stopped and wiped her tears.
Neyonika- nandini i'll leave you here... mujhe kuch zaroori kaam hai.. take care.. she said hurriedly and walked away without looking back... leaving a confused nandini behind.
N- why do I feel like Neyonika kuch bohot bada chupa rahi hai.? She thought to herself. In the meantime she felt two strong arms encircling her waist pulling her back. Nandini held the hands and smiled.
M- i missed you jaan... manik whispered into her ears.
N- manik... it's only been a few minutes.
Manik kissed her cheeks from the back and nandini stayed silent.
M- kya soch rahe ho?
N- about neyonika...
M- now tell me...neyonika ke kuch kiya? Did she try to defame you? Irritate you? Her intentions didn't seem right.
N- manik... shush! Things are not always how they seem.
M- matlab?
N- maybe there's a reason behind her actions and what her behaviour has been so far..
