Two people are seen fighting and arguing with each other at the top of their lungs and they are none other than neyonika malhotra and raj malhotra, manik's parents. Raj- i'm done with you neyonika! Aren't you ashamed to call yourself my wife?! When is the last time you spoke to me properly?! Always arguing and complaining about things! And now you are never home! You always take myra out or keep yourself busy... apne family ko bhool chuki ho tum... did you forget you have a son too? Neyo- oh please raj!! Jaise you have been involved! Tumne ghar main kab hote ho to be involved in any of our lives.... tumara wait karte karte i got tired...I know i made a mistake in the past but i have tried to mend my ways and keep this family together. But now i'm tired of this relationship and tired of living in this house! Raj- toh nikhal lyun nahi jati?! Leave me and my life alone!!!! Neyo- i would have if it wasn't for myra! Raj- agar myra nahi hoti toh i would have shown you your place a long time ago... the arguement went on and on.... two kids were seen staring at their parents in worriedly. The little girl hugs her brother tightly.

Manik ( 14 years old)
Myra- bhaiyaaa!! Why are they screaming? Woh dono humse alag ho jayenge? She asked hugging him tightly and sobbing. Manik moved her away and walked off getting irritated.
(Backstory) Myra was neyonika's illegitimate child from when she first cheated on raj. Raj was a kind hearted man and he accepted myra thinking of how young she was. Neyonika only loved myra. She never gave manik a mother's love as when manik was born neyonika was too young to realise what motherhood was and she was never prepared. However as myra came to her life she changed for the better, things with raj were still rough but she tried to be more of a positive person. When manik found out about myra he was furious and so he never accepted her. Myra loved manik a lot and always treated him like a brother.
Manik walked to his room and myra followed him. Myra- bhaiyaaa chalo na khelte hai... i fee so bored. Mumma and papa are also fighting chalooo yahan se chalte hai.... she said cutely pulling manik up from the bed. Manik was agitated. M- no myra... you go play... i have work... Myra- aap jhoot mat bolo!!! See you are sitting here doing nothing plsssss bhaiyaaaa see it's raining outside!!! Aap mujhe baalish nahi dikhaoge?? She asked cutely. M- no... go out yourself... you have feet too na? Myra- plsshhhhh bhaiyaaaaa!! She requested several times pulling him... manik eventually gave in... they went to the terrace... and myra was dancing in the rain... manik stood near the railing and looked out into the wildernesss with a angered face as he was still in annoyed recalling neyonika and raj's fight and how he never found peace at home... myra ran upto manik and tried to get him to dance with her. Myra- bhaiyaaaa comeeee dance with me!!! She said giggling. Manik ignored her the first few times and then he recalled how much neyonika used to pampered myra and how raj easily forgave neyonika and accepted myra... the love & he had always desired for was all given to myra.... got even more irritated. Myra- bhaiyaaa!!! The rain is shoooo niceee!! Chalo naaaa let's playy... comee.. She pulled him and trying to get him to twirl around like her when manik who are at the peak of his anger jerked her away... M- ENOUGH! I SAID NO!!! He said and pushed her away from him... unfortunately the poor innocent soul lost her balance and fell off the terrace due to manik's force... manik's breath got stuck as he saw her fall.... he tried to hold her before it was too late and caught her hand as she was hanging. M- hold on tight myra!!! He yelled. Myra- bhaiyaaa!!! She started screaming and crying out of fear of falling. Manik felt helpless. He tried to pull her up but the rain was making their palms slippery. Just at that moment raj and neyonika walked outside the house to get into their respective cars and looked up hearing myra scream. All they saw was manik holding a crying hanging myra by her hand. Neyo- Myraaa... baby!!!!!! Neyonika shrieked Raj had his breath stuck in his throat seeing his princess stuck in such a situation. They rushed upstairs to save her by the time they got to the terrace myra's hand slipped from manik's and she fell. Manik cried out in shock. Raj slapped and beat manik and so did neyonika blaming him for myra's death. Raj swore to never see manik's face again. While neyonika hated manik ever since then. Neyonika and raj lived separately ever since and raj used to fund manik only to fulfill his duty as a father but he never contacted manik ever since. Neyonika used to get drunk every night and sleep around in depression. She became a heartless woman ever since.
(Flashback over)
Back to present Cabir stopped outside the manan house. Mu- chalo guys let's go in... manik was still in trance and didn't even look at mukti. Nandini looked at mukti and blinked reassuringly. Na- um... mukti, cabir hume lagta hai... aaj raat nandu ko manik ke saath akele mein rehni chahiye... uhne ek doosre ki zaroorat hai... cabir nodded. C- ya i agree... nandini tum manik ke saath ander chali jao... we'll see you guys tomorrow morning. Nandini nodded and looked at manik who was still staring at the front seat blankly while holding her hand tightly. Nandini nudged him back to his senses and little and helped him get out of the car. The others was all confused wondering why manik was behaving this way. Nandini however knew she could take care of him and get to the bottom of the truth behind his pain. She held him close to her and walked into the house with a determined mind.
