31~ Losing you

Nandini and manik are seen hugging each tightly after manik's heartfelt confession.
M- nandini aise hi rehna ka irada hai? Don't you want to get down the stage baby? He gets no response.
M- nandini? Kuch bolo.... he says loosening his grip on her a little bit.
Soon manik feels nandini's weight on him and and he parts away.
M- nandini... he says and he holds an unconscious nandini in his arms.
Manik falls to the ground with nandini in his arms... the cheering stops and everyone realises the situation.
M- shit guys.... nandini.....she's f...fa..fainted!
He says constantly patting her cheeks to wake her up.
Cabir, dhruv, mukti and navya rush to them.
Na- nanduuu... navya says rubbing her hands.
C- manik chal use doctor ke paas le chalte hai...
M- manik was in no state of mind to think he didn't know what to say.... how to react... everything was perfect just a few seconds back. He somehow gathered the courage to get up and carry nandini in his arms and run to the car. He sat in the backseata with nandini in his lap, comstantly touhing her face and pecking it.
M- nandini ...baby.... please wake up.... please open your eyes jaan.... tum aise kyun kar rahe ho mere saath.... you were perfectly ok just a while back ab kya hua tumhee... pls wake up... he begged her with teary eyes.
M- CABIR FAST!!!!! Get me to the hospital!!! He yelled in frustration.
C- manik relax we're almost there. Nandini ko kuch nahi hoga.
At the hospital manik rushed in an yelled for the doctor.
M- doctor!!! Nandini....... shee... she fainted... pata nahi kaise... pls.. j..j..us checkk.. her he managed to stammer through his anxiety.
Doc- manik son relax... don't worry we'll handle it... nurse chalo...nandini was taken into the hospital room for inspection.
Manik waited outside impatiently.
The rest had reached there by then including chacha chachi ams and rishab who was brought there by mukti and navya.
Chachi- manik beta yeh kaise hua? Nandu is toh bilkhul theek thi... she said crying.
Ams- manik.... kanna nandu theek hai na? Ams said holding manik's hand worriedly. Manik couldn't take it anymore and went and hugged her tightly and cried his eyes out in her arms. Ams was nandini's grandmother but she was equally close to manik. She treated him as her grandson. Ams rubbed his back to calm him down.
M- ams... i don't kya ho raha hai... i don't know what to do i feel so helpless.... na...nandini ... i promised to protect her and aaj woh yahan aise... he could barely speak anymore.
Ams- kuch nahi hoga use beta... tum shaant raho... god uske saath galat hone nahi dega...
the doctor came out and everyone rushed around him worried.
M- nandini!! How is she? Main use mil sakta hoon? Woh hosh mein hai na? Everything's ok right? Manik asked impatiently.
Doc- manik... you need to relax... we have crossed our time limit. Mujhe nandini ka operation abhi karna padega. I need to do it now.
Manik looked at him shocked...
M- matlab... she will be okay right? Ap use kuch nahi hone denge hai na? He asked madly.
Doctor held his hand and patted his shoulder.
Doc- manik son... please calm down. I will try my best but hum abhi kuch bhi nahi keh sakte as I said... there's only 10% chances of survival...
M- SHUT UP!!!!! Manik roared shocking everybody.
M- don't you dare say uske bachne ki chances kam hai... you better do whatever you can to save her agar use kuch bhi hua i will end your whole dam career! Suna tumne?! I will destroy you!!! He said holding the doctor's collar. Cabir and dhruv attempted to stop him.
Manik wasn't in his senses... he didn't know what he was doing.... all he could sense was nandini in danger. His life in danger.
Ams- manik please woh log nandu ko theek kar denge tum shaant hojao... she said trying to calm him down.
Manik calmed down a little bit.
Doc- tum sab nandini se ek akhri baar mil sakte ho before the surgery.
Everyone entered nandini's room including manik. His heart pinched to see her in so many wires on life support. Tears were streaming down his face endlessly. Ams went upto nandini and kisses her face.
Ams- kanna, you have to fight.... tum meri strong bachi hona? She cried.
Chachi came upto nandini and held her hand tightly and kissed it.
Chachi- nandu tum meri beti jaisi ho... mujhe meri bachi wapas chahiye... tumhe theek hona hi padega... sab tumare bina kaise rahenge?
Rishab ran towards nandini and hugged her tightly.
Ri- akka please come back... i can't see you like this... aap hi mere family ho... aap mujhe chod ke nahi jaa sakte please akka... he said crying. Mukti and navya teared up. Nandini had been the positibity in everyone's lives, she was a common favorite. Everybody loved her. She was a support system to all. Mukti treated nandini as her sister. She felt heartbroken to see nandini's condition.
Cabir and dhruv tried comforting manik.
Ams looked at manik who kept staring at nandini and signalled others to leave the room to give them space.
Manik walked upto nandini after everyone had left and lied next to her on the hospital bed. He held her hand and entwined it with his.
M- jaan... he whispered into her ear...
M- haar baar you can't bear pain like this... i promised you only happiness.... and you need to help me fulfill this... i know my love isn't weak nandini... tumhe kuch nahi ho sakta... because if your heart stops beating so will mine... aaj agar tumhe kuch hogaya toh there won't be one but two dead bodies that will leave this hospital... please come back to me... please baby... i need you... hum dono ke paas waqt bhi kitna kam tha.... we waited for each other for 10 years... god can't be so cruel... he can't snatch you away from me that easily. Please be strong. Fight through this... and come back to me? He said crying touching his forehead against hers.
Cabir enters the room.
C- it's time manik.... he says disheartenedly.
Manik gets up without saying anything and kisses her eyes and all over her face one last time. He wipes his tears and goes out of the toom with cabir.
Nandini is taken to the ICU for the operation. Manik and the rest wait outside impatiently praying for nandini. The operation takes 4hrs.
