19~ Can't lose you

Nandini and manik enter the canteen and fab 5 runs and hugs nandini one by one. Nandini smiles widely seeing them. Everybody else in the canteen are seen shocked at how rivals had become best buds. Alia stayed away looking at nandini irritated so did aryaman.
Mu- nandini! Welcome back to college!! How are you feeling??
N- much better, thankyou mukti for everything, jsi tarah se tumne.... tum sab ne chacha chachi ko sambhala it meant the world to me. She says looking at fab 5. Navya runs to nandini and hugs her tightly.
Na- nandu hume abhi abhi pata chala ki tum hospital mein thi aur tumhe... she pauses realizing what she's saying... nandini smiles at her.
N- main bikhul theek hoon navya.
Na- nandu kitna galat hua tumare saath, tum puri duniya ki khushi deserve karti ho phir bhi...
harshad walks upto nandini and give her a slight hug.
H- i hope you get well soon nandini, you're a strong girl.
Na- hume maaf kardo nandu hum tumhare saath nahi the hospital kein, hum bohot bure dost hai....par tumare saath nandu. Navya says holding nandini's hand.
N- navya sorry mat bolo, waise bhi mujhe kya hua hai? Yeh toh ek choti si bimari hai... and i'll recover soon... i have hope, aur hope itni jaldi harta nahi...
Hearing nandini manik couldn't control his tears he runs out of the canteen. Cabir sees him and follows him out. Manik finds an empty classroom and falls to the ground crying. He had been enclosing his emotions since he found out. Cabir comes in and like a good friend hugs manik and tries to calm him down.
M- main nahi kar sakta cabir!!! I can't take it anymore... use hope hai ki woh theek hojayegi par....main kaise theek karounga use? Kaise?! He cries out.
C- manik tu agar aise toot jayega toh nandini ko kon sambhalega... woh strong ban rahi hai sirf is liye kyunki tu uske sasth hai.
M- mere strong hone se sach nahi badal jayega...
C- matlab kya hai tera? Konsa sach?
M- cabir aaj doctor ne call kiya tha... meri nandini... she has only....10% chances to live... woh theek nahi ho rahi hai... she's getting worse... he said... waqt nahi uske paas...
manik bursts out crying. Cabir gets shocked.
M- waqt nahi hai? Kaise nahi ho sakta uske paas waqt jeene ke liye?! She taught me how to live, how to love.... uske bina how can i be alive?! Manik sobbed.
Cabir felt bad seeing manik's condition. He tried to calm manik down but there was no stop to his pain.
M- cabir i promised her... i promised to make her fine... usko hope diya maine... and now jab use yeh pata chalega... she'll lose it again! Toot jayegi woh... how will i handle her??
M- i feel so helpless... my love is dying and kuch nahi kar para raha uske kiye mein.. manik says punching the wall. Blood oozes out of his hand. Cabir pulls away and shakes him to get him back to his senses.
Suddenly they hear a familiar voice.
N- manik....
Nandini had left the canteen seeing manik missing and she had overheard the whole conversation manik had with cabir. Tears dripped down her blank face as she looked at manik. Manik moves back and looks at her painfully.
M- nandini... he manages to say...
N- cabir kya tum bahar ja sakte ho? Mujhe manik se akele mein baat karni hai.. she said blankly.
Cabir nods and leaves the room closing the door behind nandini.
Nandini walks upto manik.
M- i'm sorry... i'm sorry nandini... he cried falling to the ground. Nandini kneels down in front of him and holds his face in the palm of her hands and makes him look up.
N- kuch nahi hoga mujhe.... kuch ho hi nahi sakta mujhe... jab tak... jab tak tum mere saath ho. She says looking into his eyes.
N- I trust you more than my life manik... tum mujhe kuch nahi hone doge... she smiled slightly through her tears.
Manik looked at her unbelievably, this girl had so much strength. But all that strength was all thanks to manik's love. His hope.
M- kuch nahi hone doonga tumhe mein... he said determinedly. Nandini nodded and wiped his tears from his face.
Manik then pulled nandini in for a passionate kiss. He chewed her lips harshly trying to fight for dominance. He was letting out all his fear and pin through the kiss. Nandini let him do whatever he wanted because she understood what he was going through. She was going through the same. Nandini broke the kiss leaving both of them panting for air. Manik spread gentle kisses all over her face multiple times.
M- i can't lose you nandini... he said looking into her eyes with fear.
N- you won't, main humesha tumare saath hoon manik, in your every breath, every thought, every heartbeat.
She said leaning against and placing her head on his chest where his heart was. Manik closed his eyes and hugged her tightly to feel her petite soul. He held her protectively and kissed her hair. Nandini opened her eyes and thought to herself.
