Little Nandini who is around 9 years old with her younger brother is seen saying bye to her mom and dad as they are going for work, when they see a black BMW car park near the house near them, a boy gets out of the car and runs to hug his grandfatheriy who hugs him tightly, that boy is obviously young manik whose 10 years old at the time. Soon enough they end up spending 2 whole months together of holidays. Manik and nandini gets very attached to each other, they have breakfast, lunch, and dinner together...he literally lives at her house and vice versa....and at this point of time they have still have no clue about their real names. Taara had become manik's best friend, he used to be happy kid, he was always seen smiling. Manik's grandad "daduu" was also a fan of nandini. One day dadu passes way getting a cardiac arrest, manik was in shock, nandini was by his side the whole time, hugging him, comforting him, etc. in manik's room: Manik is seen breaking everything in his room in anger. He was really close to his grandad. N- manu, kya kar rahe ho, stoppp, please it's okay, she says hugging him. N- jab tak main hoon, tab tak tumhe wahan dard kabhi na hoga, and look these stars shine so beautifully. Inhe dekhe humhe bas smile karni chahiye, cry nahi. She said smiling. M- toh tum meri star ho? N- haan, and i'll always shine for you takhi tum kabhi sad na ho. She said smiling brightly. Manik starts to smile and hugs her M- ok star, tum humesha mere paas rehna, i will need you to always shine for me. N- humesha. Nandini holds his hand.
