Hi guys! I know it's been a long long gap since i've updated the story! I hope you guys still remember it!! I was super demotivated to write and didn't know how to go about writing for you all! I wanted you guys to have the best content! So i'm back again attempting to give you guys a wonderful storyline ahead! I hope you guys enjoy it! And ofc do let me know what you thought about it!

M- nandini kya bola uss aurat ne? You know how she is... manipulative and evil... unke baaton ko ignore karo... that's gonna be better for you.
N- manik but....
manik raised his hand in front of her sternly.
M- enjoy the party nandini mujhe kuch kaam hai i'll jus be back...
N- nandini nodded dejectedly.
Here on the otherside neyonika was having a glass of wine when manik pulled her aside.
M- what the hell do you want?! He spoke threateningly.
Neyo- what do you mean manik?
M- nandini ko jake kya bola tumne? Are you trying to trap her again in some cheap plan of yours? If that's the case let me tell you uske consequences kya hone wala hai! Last time I injured you but this time... this time i swear i will kill you! He said in agony.
Neyonika moved back in fear.
Neyo- manik i haven't said anything to nandini... aur nahi main uske saath kuch karne wali hoon... woh hamare pariwaar ka hissa hai abhi..
M- haha.. manik chuckled sarcastically.
M- pariwaar? What pariwaar? And tumari munh se aise chezein achi nahi lagti hai neyonika... you don't know what a family is! Infact i feel ashamed to be related to you in anyway....
Neyo- manik i knowbi have made cruel mistakes but it's only because...
M- actually you know what idc about what you want to say mujhse aur nandini se door rehna i am only tolerating you because of dad... so don't make me lose it! He said holding her arms tightly.
Neyonika shed a tear thinking of the monster she had turned her son into and nodded.

This was all witnessed by nandini who looked at manik angrily. Manik notices her and walks towards her.
M- nandini woh...
N- enough manik... she didn't even say anything bad why did you treat her like that? no matter how she has been... she is your mother aur tum unke saath aise behavr karte ho?! I understand your hatred for her .. but she's your mother unki respect toh karo...
Manik got annoyed hearing nandini.. and pulled her out of the hall. He pushed her to a wall and got dangerously close to her.
M- respect? He asked softly...
N- hmm... she said confused.
M- YOU WANT ME TO RESPECT THAT WOMAN?! He yelled moving back and hitting the wall hard with his hand.
Nandini looked at him in shock trying to grasp the situation. Manik was always so calm with her she didn't know what to do.
N- manik... calm down... i only wanted to say ...
M- shut up nandini!! He yelled again...
M- who the hell gave you the right to talk about my family and how i should behave with them?!
Nandini looked at him shocked. He had so easily made her distant with his words.
M- maine tumhe itna kuch bataya about my childhood and you still ask me to respect neyonika??! Do you even have a heart?! Ya us aurat ne tumhe bhi apne jaisa bana diya hai?!
N- bas karo manik you are crossing your limits... listen to yourself kya bol rahe ho tum?! She cried
M- wohi toh keh raha hoon nandini enough is enough! Aaj ke baad tum unse door rohege and you will never utter a word about neyonika! And if you are interested in being her then go live with her and leave me alone... He said casually in anger.
Nandini couldn't bear it any longer, she slapped manik hard!
Manik was raged and he didn't know what he was saying but his words broke nandini's heart. He had for once again become the monster that he was in those few minutes.
Manik got back to his senses and looked at nandini who was crying badly.
N- uski zaroorat nahi padegi manik malhotra... neyonika ka nahi pata but you won't have a problem from me again... she said sternly and walked off.
Manik punched the wall realising everything he had said. He mentally slapped himself for being blind to who he was talking to just because of neyonika.
Manik tears up thinking about what the consequences were gonna be and how much he must've hurt nandini. He walks inside with a bleeding hand.
He goes to the bar and downs 5-6 glasses of hard whiskey thinking about how he spoke to nandini and
A while later manik who seemingly is drunk looks towards nandini who seems alone and teary in the corner. He moves towards her and puts his hand forward smiling. Nandini looks at him seriously with tears in her eyes. Manik moves closer to her and kisses her hand and takes it and brings her to the dance floor along with the other couples.
Music starts playing.
