Hours later... Manik wakes up realizing he has slept off near nandini's bed, still holding her hand. He kisses nandini on her forehead seeing her still asleep. He checks his phone and sees 50missed calls from mukti, 45 from alia and 80 from cabir. He calls cabir back.
C- manik! Kaha hai tu?! Hum yahan tujhe kitni der se call karne ki koshish kar rahe the!
M- i know sorry..
C- where the hell are you?
M- uh.. hospital mein
He says looking at nandini
C- hospital?! Kya hua tujhe?
Mukti hears this and screams in the background "what happened to him?! "
C- manik tu theek hai na?
M- haan i'm fine.. woh nandini
C- kya kiya tune uske saath?!
M- cabir she got unconsious... mein use hospital leke aya... i don't know what's happening.
C- tu ruk...pehle bata tu kis hospital mein hai hum wahan aa rahe hai..
M- no don't... the last thing i wanna do right now is face mukti and alia..
C- fine but keep me posted... i hope's fine.
M- i will chal bye..
C- take care..
Just as Manik cuts the call, the doctor walks in.
Doc- mr malhotra good you're awake i wanted to talk to you about nandini's test results, shall we head to my cabir?
M- what's wrong doctor? Is everything okay? Nandini woh theek hai na?
Manik follows the doctor to his cabin.
Doc- take a seat mr. Malhotra.
M- doctor i'm not here to sit or have a hat with you! Mujhe nandini ke bare mein jana hai...so can you cut the crap?!
Manik says impatiently worried.
Doc- mr. Malhotra humne patient ke blood tests liye the.... to reconfirm the cause of the nose bleed and we've found the reason....
Manik looks at him worried and curiously.
Doc- mr. Malhotra how are you related to her?
M- how does it matter?! Can you just tell me kya hua hai meri nandini ko?!
Manik yells.
Doc- see i'm sorry mr. Malhotra but nandini ko brain tumor hai...
Manik looks at the doctor in shock.
Doc- she has crossed the early stages without many symptoms... but ab se treatment shuru karna padega because we're already late. Growth had se bad gaya hai. We need to take an action as soon as possible.... that's why i wanted to inform her family members...
Manik almost collapses to the ground hearing him. The doctor tries to help him but he jerks his hand away and walks out without saying anything... he walks around the hospital corridors lost thinking about all the moments he spent with Nandini.
(Judaai plays in the background)
