After the night of terror at the rental house, I woke up to find myself in a strange bed. I rubbed my eyes, trying to get the sleep out of them. I looked around and the room decorated tastefully. I saw Ryan come strolling into the room, over to the dresser. He was putting on a watch and saw me sitting on the bed, looking confused.

He climbed into bed, kissing me on the forehead. He was only in a pair of sweats, which hung low on his hips.

"Morning," he greeted me.

"Morning, where are we?" I asked as I yawned.

"Aunt Theresa's house, Dean's mom," he answered.

"I didn't know she lived that close," I said, surprised.

"She's on the outskirts of town, but close enough that we don't have to be far from school," he explained.

"Why did we come here?" I asked.

"I called Cole, and Dean was with him. He told me to come here by using a code word," he said.

"What's the code word?"

"A family dinner," he answered.

I raised my eyebrows. "You all have code words?"

"It comes in handy with having a family like mine. Come on; breakfast is ready," he said, taking my hand. Before we left the room, he threw on a hoodie. Even in a hoodie with bed hair, Ryan was hot.

We came downstairs, and everyone was sitting at the table, eating breakfast, even Dean was here. We grabbed a plate of food and joined them.

"I see it takes some lunatic to get my boy to visit me," Theresa said, squeezing Dean's cheeks.

"Aw, come on, ma," he said, waving her hand away from him.

"Well, it's true," she told him.

"Aunt Theresa, where's Uncle Grant?" Ryan asked her.

"He's in Nevada on business, but he'll be back tonight. I called him after Dean called me. He's not thrilled with the situation, plus he told Charles, who might I add, wasn't happy to hear about this, after the fact. Do you know what it's like to get a lecture from my big brother, even worse when it comes from Mason?" She reminded him.

Ryan ran his hand through his hair in frustration.

"I'm sorry to put you through this," I whispered, looking at my plate, not touching my food. I was feeling like a burden to anyone; even if I knew how to defend myself, I couldn't help it.

They all looked at me, and I felt Ryan grab my hand underneath the table.

"Alex, sweetie, what are you talking about?" she asked.

"I feel like this is all my fault. Because of me, everyone is going through all this trouble for something that has to do with me. If I had never come here, none of this would have happened. Excuse me," I said, pulling my hand away from Ryan and running out of the room.

"What was that all about, and where did she go?" Theresa asked them.

The guys looked at each other, "Bathroom."

"Come on, guys. Elena explains things to Aunt Theresa." The guys got up and left the kitchen while Elena explained to their aunt about me.

They found a locked door and knocked on it. "Alex, let us in. It's just the three of us," assured Ryan.

"No," I managed through sniffles.

"Do it," he whispered to Frazier, who picked the lock, opening the door. Before they could come in, I shut the door, but not before I saw someone in the bathroom with me.
