After straightening out the mess that our mothers created, we could focus on us. Now, with summer here, we had time to talk about wedding plans. We picked out a date, which would happen after graduation at some point. We picked out everything together.
We hired Frazier to create our wedding cake. We didn't want anyone else but him to design it, along with Kate's help, who would supply the food. The girls helped us with the colors, which were royal blue, violet, and white, which were our favorite colors.
I went dress shopping, but I couldn't find anything that I liked, but I figured we had plenty of time to find something. Marissa would do everyone's hair since she loved working with wool and was majoring in design. She even showed me some designs she was working on for class, and I found my dress. So, I hired her to design it and the bridesmaid's dresses. It worked out for her final project for when she graduated.
Jordan helped with the decorations and kept our jitters at bay. He would be a good psychologist, considering he's the calm one out of us. While Elena helped our moms organize and plan. She was studying to work in public relations.
Our wedding would help our friends graduate since I'm sure they had a lot to work with us. I had to pick what I wanted to major in. I was still undecided, and it needed selecting before I registered for classes next year.
Taking a break from the wedding planning, I was sitting on my bed, going through brochures of different majors, trying to figure out what I wanted to do. Nothing was catching my eye, so I laid down on the bed, letting out a deep breath, staring at the ceiling. Maybe something will come to mind if I stare at the ceiling long enough. With my luck, I doubt it.
Ryan laid down next to me, interlocking his fingers on his stomach.
"What are we looking at?" Ryan asked, looking at the ceiling.
"I'm trying to figure out my major," I sighed.
"Any luck," he asked me.
"Nope," I said, popping the p.
He propped himself up and picked up the brochures, then laid back down. As he looked at each one, he tossed each one to the floor with a, "No, nope, nada, I don't think so."
After he finished, I looked at him. "That was a big help."
He grinned. "I'm glad that I could be of service."
"You're about as much help as Frazier is," I commented.
"Did someone say my name?" Frazier said, popping his head through the doorway. We propped ourselves up on the bed.
"Unfortunately, yes," Ryan mumbled, and I punched him in the shoulder.
"You guys weren't doing the nasty, were you?" He asked with a grin.
"Please tell me they didn't have their sexcapades," Marissa said, standing next to him.
"From the looks of it, I doubt it. They're still fully clothed," Frazier whispered to Marissa.
"Ah," she nodded in agreement.
"Is there something we could help, you two, with?" I groaned.
"We're all going down to Kate's and wanted to know if, you two jackrabbits, wanted to join us," he grinned.
Ryan and I looked at each other. "Sure, why not, staring at the ceiling is getting us nowhere," he said.
I shrugged. "Eh, why not?"
I got up and slipped on some sandals onto my feet. Ryan took my hand, interlocking our fingers, and we went down to the bakery. Since I needed to figure out a major, I might and do it on a full stomach.
