After the Valentine's Day fiasco, the guys paid a visit to the frat house those guys were part of and decided on an eye for an eye. They waited for them to leave for the evening, and since the frat had a banquet after initiation, it was a perfect time. They found a way in through the back since it was more hidden.
They went inside, smashing anything they could and causing excessive damage. After the guys finished, they left a message, especially for the frat boys. After the vandalism, police showed up, questioning them about it, but they all had an alibi with even video footage to prove they had nothing to do with it. With an excuse, no forensic evidence, and no witnesses, it exonerated the guys.
Finals were approaching again, and we were all camped out in our room studying. Ryan was lying on his back, reading a chapter in his textbook when I sat up and looked at him.
"I want a snack," I say to him.
"Then go get a snack," he told me.
"Well, I want a snack as in food. I want to get some food because I'm starving," I mentioned.
"Okay, then get some food," he replied.
"Will you get me some food, please?" I begged him.
He pulled his keys out of his jean pockets and handed them to me, "Here, go get some food. I need to finish this chapter."
I blankly looked at him and stared at the dangling car keys in his hand. Most people would jump at the chance to take their boyfriend's car, but all it did was make me frustrated.
I picked up my books and got off the bed. As I headed to the door, I mumbled, "I changed my mind. I'm not hungry anymore."
I walked out of the room and closed the door. Ryan laid his book down and looked at the others as they shrugged.
I walked to the library, but my stomach was growling. I was famished, so I headed to the 24-hour diner. I know it was dark, but it was only two blocks away, and I could also study there.
I walked to the diner, and I thought I heard footsteps behind me. I stopped and looked behind me, but there wasn't anyone, so I continued, picking up my pace. The closer the steps became, the quicker I became until they were right behind me. I turned around and almost got run over by someone on the track team. The guy yelled, "Sorry," as he ran past me.
I had dropped my books and picked them up. Once I gathered everything, I turned to smack into a wall, dropping my books again. I let out a frustrated sigh, gathering them back up. I stood up and looked to see what I ran into now. It wasn't a what, but a who, and it was none other than Jordan, just like my first day of high school, but I had nearly missed him.
Ryan and Frazier were with him.
"Jordan! What are you doing? You made me drop my books and almost gave me a freaking heart attack," I exclaimed.
"Ask your boyfriend," he gestures to Ryan.
I looked at Ryan, and I sighed.
"Alex, why are you walking? I offered my keys, so you didn't have to walk," he says to me.
Ugh, I didn't want to tell him why I was walking. It was embarrassing. So, I came up with a little white lie.
"Well, I went to the library, then my stomach growled, so I walked to the diner, since it's not that far," I fibbed.
They all looked at each other, and I knew they weren't buying it.
"Okay, some of that might be true, but what's the real reason?" Ryan asked.
