After Christmas and New Year, classes resumed. Ugh, why, oh, why was I forced to leave my beautiful warm bed and a guy that has an eight pack? Oh, that's right, because I'm working towards my future.
Besides classes resuming, so did dealing with the lunatic, trying to ruin our lives. I swear this girl was certifiable with us, and she was getting more creative, making our lives miserable.
The guys came out one day to find their tires slashed. Marissa had her designs destroyed. They blamed Elena for something she didn't do, as was Jordan. Frazier had knives thrown at him after someone rigged the culinary class. Ryan had to deal with his computer exploding in class and all the machines receiving a virus. I got blamed for plagiarism, then having to show my original work and everything I cited.
Yes, life has been just peachy for all of us. I swear I wanted to harm this girl when I got my hands on her. She always seems to be one step ahead of us.
I came in and went straight to bed. I climbed under the covers, pulling them over my head. At least, I could hide here for a while, well, until someone lifted them off of me. I always felt better, looking at his chocolate brown eyes.
"Are you seriously hiding under the covers?" He questioned me.
"It's the only place that she can't get to," I sighed.
"It will be okay," he reassured me.
"How can you be sure?" I asked him.
He held out his hand. "Come on; I have something to show you."
He piqued my interest. I took his hand and followed him into Frazier's room. Frazier was sitting at the computer while Jordan was standing next to him, looking at the screen.
"What's going on?" I asked them.
"Just watch," he whispered to me.
I sat there, watching as Frazier was looking at videos from the school security system. Every time he came across something, he froze the screen, taking a screenshot. Frazier did this gathering everything needed, then closed out of the videos. He opened another program that showed facial recognition. He dropped the screenshots into the program and let it scan the photos.
Anytime there was a match, he saved it to a folder until he finishes. He opened a database running each facial recognition. He brought up names through the school database. Once the names captured, he put them into a flash drive and copied the files.
"Make the call," he said, pulling the flash drive out and handing it to Ryan. Ryan made a call, then hung up the phone.
"Did you just hack the school's security system?" I asked him, confused.
"I wouldn't say hack as much as investigation work," Frazier reasoned.
"What was all that other stuff?" I asked him.
"Programs Ryan created. He would have been doing the work, but he was busy trying to get you out of your hiding spot," he grinned. I rolled my eyes.
Ten minutes later, Zane showed up, and Ryan handed him the flash drive. He nodded and left.
"Will someone please tell me what's going on?" I asked them, feeling frustrated.
"If everything works out, we'll tell you everything later," he said, reassuring me. "Now, if you guys excuse us, I would like to spend time with my beautiful fiancé."
He grabbed my hand and dragged me out of the room. "Later jackrabbits," Frazier grinned.
He dragged me into the room, closing and locking the door. He took off his shirt. "Ryan, we don't have time for this." Just as I finished my sentence, he walked over, putting his hands on my face, giving me a passionate kiss. I reached up to touch his shoulders as I melted into his embrace.
