We finally made it through our last semester as Sophomores, except for the craziness we kept encountering. It also means that Cole and Dean were graduating. Dean would continue after getting his law degree while Cole got his Masters. So they weren't leaving us yet. I was glad. I finally got used to them being around.
I woke up to yelling and chaos in the house.
"Alex! Why are you still in bed?" Ryan yelled.
"What time is it?" I asked groggily.
"Almost 9:30," he said.
Shit, I woke up late, and so did everyone else, hence the yelling and chaos. People were running around, getting dressed, and I heard Dean yell to his mom. "Have you seen my gown?"
"It's next to your cap, hanging on your closet door," she yelled back, trying to get ready.
"Aunt Theresa, can you tie this?" Asked a frantic Cole.
"You better hope you have a job that doesn't require a tie," she said, helping him with his tie.
I grabbed a quick shower as Ryan was dressing. Good thing, there was more than one bathroom in the house. I quickly dried off, then wrapped a towel around my body. I came into the room, trying to find some clothes to wear.
"Mmm, I think I could get used to this view," Ryan mentioned.
I looked at him. "It's not the time, babe. Help me find something to wear."
"Okay, okay," he said, helping me with a dress, he and dresses. I knew what he had on his mind. I arched my eyebrow. "What? I think you look good in a dress."
Elena popped her head in the doorway. "What's taking the both of you so long? We're leaving in five minutes!"
"Shit," we both said as I scrambled to get my clothes on with his help, well, as much help as one can be when they're trying not to feel you up. I grabbed onto his shoulder as I put my heels on. As we made our way downstairs, I threw my wet hair up in a ponytail. If I didn't know any better, we would be late for our wedding.
We made it to graduation just in time. We all sat in the back as Dean and Cole found their seats. We listened to a few people talk; you know the same boring speech you hear at most graduations. I think I saw the guys nodding off. I punched Ryan in the arm, jolting him awake while Elena did the same to Jordan. We heard snoring and leaned over to see Frazier snoozing away.
Marissa hauled off and slapped in on the forehead, making him yell loudly, "Ow," causing the speakers to stop speaking, and everyone looks at us. I saw Dean and Cole trying to stifle a laugh.
"Sorry, he had a big mosquito land on him. Got it, honey," she smiled as she faked, wiping off her hand.
After some glares, everyone turned back around, and the speakers continued to drone on.
"Thanks a lot," he muttered.
"Well, you shouldn't have been snoring," she told him.
"I wouldn't be snoring if my wife didn't keep me up with her sexual needs," he retorted.
"Aw, take a five-hour energy shot," she countered with a smirk.
While they bickered, Ryan whispered to me, "How much longer is this damn ceremony?"
"I don't know," I groaned.
"Were our speeches this boring?" He asked me.
"Yours was, but Alex's had been better," grinned Jordan, who Ryan pinched, "Ow, what the fuck dude?"
