I woke up to find Ryan gone. He must have woken up early. I don't know why, considering it was Saturday. I pulled the blankets over my head and cuddle into them, going back to sleep a little longer.
As I drifted off to sleep, I felt someone grab my legs under the covers and yank me from under my warm cocoon. I opened an eye to see a shirtless Ryan hovering over me.
"Good morning, baby," he said in a husky voice. I opened my eyes, looking at his messy bed hair and the outline of his abs with the light bouncing off of them. His muscles in his arms were popping from him, hovering over me. I could get used to this view.
"Isn't it early to be up on a Saturday?" I yawned.
"It's only 6:30," he replied.
"Only 6:30," I said, giving him a look.
"Yep," he smirked.
"It's a Saturday, with no classes, and I wanted to sleep in," I whined.
"I'll tell you what, why don't we have a morning workout, then we can both go back to bed?" He smirked.
I ran my finger over his muscles. "Oh?"
"I wish, but not that kind of workout, and I'm the one that has a perverted mind," he smirked.
"Then what?" I asked him.
"Get dressed and wear something warm," he said, a getting off me and leaving the room. Ugh, this sucks being up early on a Saturday, and we were working out. What the fudge?
I put on sweats and a hoodie, throwing on a pair of sneakers. I came down to find everyone waiting for me. As soon as I joined them, we left. I thought we were going to the training facility, but we were running.
I wasn't a runner, well, unless it's in a bathroom to hide, but for a workout, that would be a big fat no. The five of them were ahead of me as I was lagging. I was tired, hungry, and just wanted to stop. Finally, I couldn't keep running and stayed where I was, only walking. As much as Cole and Dean had conditioned me, I was so out the shape from a single run.
Everyone was way ahead of me as I walked towards their direction. Maybe at some point, everyone may realize I'm not there. As I walked, I heard a noise from a twig breaking. I yelled in the direction, "I see you finally realized I wasn't behind you!"
It wasn't until they got close that I realized it wasn't Ryan, but someone dressed all in black, running after me. Taking a quick look, I realized it wasn't a man, but a woman and using smart thinking, I ran off of the path and into the woods.
Ryan told me if I was ever by a wooded area to take off into it, but follow a pattern. It'll distract them and hide me. That's what I did as I ran as fast as I could.
While I was running from the person, everyone stopped to take a break, catching their breath.
"See Alex, it's not that bad," Ryan said as he looked back in my direction, realizing I wasn't there. "Did you guys see Alex?"
They all shook their heads; then, they heard screaming.
"What was that?" Asked Jordan.
"Alex," Ryan said, recognizing my voice, taking off toward my view of everyone hot on his trail.
I ran screaming until the person caught up to me, knocking me down, making me roll down a small hill. I hit some branches and scraped up my legs, arms, and face. When I got to the bottom, I grabbed my side and realized I hit a tree with it. I think I broke two ribs.
I stood up as they made their way towards me. Their face and hair covered, and they were wearing gloves. She walked over to me and hit me, knocking me off balance. Then she grabbed me by the neck, lifting me off of my feet. What the hell does this girl eat?
