The semester ended, and we made it through finals with minimum problems. We came back to our room because in a few days we would have to move out, which was fine by all of us. Ryan decided he finishes with the dorm life and rent a house for next year, and all of us were moving in. It had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, so we didn't need to have one bathroom for six people.

I was boxing up some stuff with Ryan when a faculty member knocked on the door.

"Excuse me. Are you, Miss Hartley?" They asked me.

"Yes," I answered.

"The Dean would like a word with you," they told me.

"About what?" I asked.

"About attending here next year," they answered.

The faculty member left, and we looked at each other.

"What the fuck?" Ryan questioned.

"Let's go. What could this possibly be about?" I asked him.

We went to the Dean's office, and they made Ryan wait outside while I talked to the Dean privately. I sat in the chair, trying not to fidget.

"You wanted to see me, Dean Stanford," I say to him.

"Yes, Miss Hartley," he replied.

"What's this about?" I asked him.

"It seems there is a problem with your scholarships and grants," he said.

"What are you talking about, Dean? My scholarships were full scholarships, and my grants were to pick up any additional costs," I explained, feeling extremely confused.

"Yes, but it seems they have revoked your tuition grants because you seem to have made too much money, and after the scholarship committee reviewed your scholarship, they have pulled them," he informed me.

"What? Why?" I questioned him.

"Their reason is, you have proven to be an unfit candidate for their scholarship. You have had some altercations with some board member's sons, and they don't feel you would be the best at representing their foundation, especially after knowing it involves you with a very wealthy family's son," he replied.

My mouth dropped open. I'm shocked; then, I felt the anger boil inside of me. That son of a bitch would ruin my future because he didn't get what he wanted. I had enough. I stood up and walked over to the desk with balled fists.

"Let me get this straight. You're revoking my scholarship because some frat boy's parents think I'm undeserving! Then maybe they should know what their precious baby boys have been up to here! Let's start with one, trying to rape me! Or three, trying to assault me! Or the attack they did on my work, destroying everything in sight! They want to talk about conduct unbecoming, then why don't they start with their precious baby boys!" I barked at him.

"Miss Hartley, that tone of voice, will not tolerate in this office, and maybe you should explore different avenues of schooling!" He replied, his voice raised.

"Are you kicking me out?" I asked him.

"No, I'm saying that perhaps this is too much pressure for you," the dean answered, knowing he couldn't just kick me out without good reason.

That was it. I let it rip.

Frazier and Jordan walked up to find Ryan listening at the door.

"What's going on?" Frazier asked.

"The shit just hit the fan," Ryan answered.

"Is that, Alex?" asked Jordan.

"Yep," he told them.
