I don't remember how it happened, but at some point between our staring and expressions of love, Luke had moved me so that I was lying beneath him. His kisses never stopped as they traveled down my neck while I let out strangled gasps, never having expected this from Luke, especially after all that had happened. Nevertheless, his body hovered over mine as I felt his lean torso against my own, the only separation being our clothing. Most of his weight ended up on myself as I pulled him closer and closer to me, the rest of his weight being held up by his muscular arms.

His body moved fluidly as he wound one of his forearms beneath my neck and gently pulled at my long blonde hair as he was so accustomed to doing. With his lips continuing to pepper light kisses on my neck, I hummed and shivered beneath his touch. My hands raked down his sides multiple times before gaining the courage to slightly raise his shirt and indicate that I wanted it off of him. As soon as that barrier was gone, his chest was pressed against mine as it had been moments before.

I relished in the feeling of closeness, the love surrounding us almost palpable as I melted into his strong hold. Although I had been intimate with no other person than Luke, I found the concept of wanting any other man this close to me to be odd. Luke was the only man I could ever imagine loving, despite all of the special circumstances that had to happen in order for us to even meet.

Neither of us spoke as emotions seemed to fill the room with silent screams and declarations of love. I was drained from the emotionally trying day, and I could tell Luke felt it as well by the lazy way he planted kisses on my neck. Even though he tried to hide his emotions from the day, I could see in the way his shoulders were tensed and his back was rigid that he had been affected by this just as much as I had been.

"Relax," I breathed into his ear, allowing my hands to shift down his lower back and my fingers to encircle the tight muscles making up the expanse of it. Soft moans escaped his mouth as his stiff muscles loosened. The warm air he had released tickled my skin, but I had no urge to laugh at the interaction as I took in the weight he had adjusted to place on me.

His eyes met mine, as though he were asking if the amount of weight on me was alright, and I simply nodded and attached our lips together in hopes that he would receive the message that i only wanted to feel him against me.

His skin felt hot against my own, almost as though he were setting me on fire, but I knew that it was only the hormones of the moments catching up to him. As he placed soft kisses along my neck and collarbone, I allowed my hands to slip down his back and draw small patterns upon it. The closeness of our bodies entwined caused me to let out a shaky breath.

Although we had not been apart for long, I felt as though it had been ages since I had been this close to him. With every touch he gave, he soothed each ache I had carried around all of my life. He was the missing piece in my life that I never thought that I would find, and now that I had found him, I never wanted to let him go.

His kisses were healing me so quickly that it was as if the damaged caused by the multiple casualties in the past few months were nonexistent. My fingers couldn't stop touching him as I tried to keep the healing process flowing. Luke didn't seem to mind my touches at all as he continued his gentle assault on my body.

"I love you," I heard him whisper gently into my skin as his lips fell to the space below my ear. Gasps and quick intakes of breath was all that could be heard from my lips as a shiver ran through my whole body, my instincts knowing exactly what I wanted from the blonde haired boy above me. When his teeth nibbled on my skin, I sucked in a deep breath, the effort to not give into his whims taking every bit of willpower that I had.
