Nova had gotten a few letters in the past month of her getting to the Glade, the letters didn't make any sense to her, what-so-ever. She was highly confused, and wasn't pleased with it, at all.
'I'm sorry for doing this to you, but it needed to be done.' The letter had read with each braille word. Nova furrowed her eyebrow's, trying to figure out, what it all meant. In fact; she tried to figure out how she knew braille so well, it was like she had learned it all in her past life, but she couldn't remember.
Nova was up early in the morning, a blurb of the sun had kissed the brim on one of the Maze walls. Just last week the Box brought up another - what Minho had called it - newbie, and so she was hoping to have passed the 'Greenie' name.
"Hey, Greenie!" Clyde had hollered at Nova, walking passed her.
Nova slumped her shoulders down in defeat and groaned, "You've got to be kidding me..."
"What's the matter with you?" She listened to the familiar chuckle, coming from a boy walking towards her from behind.
"Minho, not now." Nova tightened her grip on the letter in her left hand, and crossed her arms.
She seemed to be getting used to the Glader's names, and she was proud of it. It got easier for her, as each day passed, being around them constantly. Not like she had a choice either way, in all honesty.
"What's got you in a funk?" Minho crossed his arms as well, willingly.
"Greenie." Nova muttered, pouting, feeling slight deja vu while doing so, like she's pouted before in her past life.
"I mean, it's only been a week since the new Greenie got here, you've still got another week or two, order for everyone to get used to your name, officially." Minho explained. He then added, "Nice wording on the slang, by the way." He gave off a smirk. "But keep practicing."
"What's his name anyway?" Nova asked.
"Who?" Minho raised a brow.
"You know who I'm talking about, the new one."
"The new what?" At this point, Minho was teasing her.
Nova deepened the crease in the middle of her eyebrows, pouting even more. "Hm?" Minho hummed, waiting.
Nova rolled her broken eyes with a deep sigh, "Th-The Greenie!" She flung her arms in the air. "There, are you happy now? I used your slang." She added.
Minho giggled, "That's a good little Greenie," he pat her head, like she were a pet, just to tease her even more. Minho found it charming of Nova, when she seemed angry in any way.

"Alright little one, you ready to learn?" Minho asked.
"I'm not that little," Nova sighed. "Pretty sure I'm as old as you all."
Minho ignored her remark, "Come, I want to show you something."
Nova didn't bother arguing any further, she gripped onto Minho's shoulder so he could guild her, as he walked forwards, her following. Not knowing where their destination would be, but only waiting to get there soon.
Feeling her feet brush through a bunch of what felt like crunched up leafs, tree bark, grass, and dirt. She recognized the place, but continued to not know what it had been called. Although, she did remember falling out of one of the many tree's a month earlier.
"Due to your configured face, I can tell you're thinking hard right now." Minho said. "We're in the deadheads if you don't know already."
"Well, I know now, that's all I can say." Nova shrugged.
"Right." Minho laughed.
"What's the Greenie's name anyway?" Nova asked.
"I see you've finally decided to use our slang slightly on your own now, it's about shucking time, honestly." Minho scoffed. "David."
Nova blew out of her nose, trying to ignore his words. Thinking of the newbies name... David, I swear I've heard that name before... She thought.
"We're here," Minho stopped walking, causing Nova to stop as well.
She shook from her thoughts, "Where are we? You know I can't see."
"It's known as the map room." Minho said.
Nova nodded, "Ohh," Adding, "Does it have all the maps of the world?"
Minho laughed, "No, I'll explain more once we get inside."
Nova didn't speak, she merely nodded. "This will be your first lesson, for today." He gave a smile.
"O-Okay." Nova stuttered lightly, suddenly nervous, she didn't know how she was going to get through this. Considering all of the other jobs in the Glade didn't work out, and she didn't want to get stuck with doing absolutely nothing. As that would be pointless, and she didn't want to come across as useless.
***
Minho dug through papers that laid in many bins, "These papers are what we use to write down what we've memorized in the Maze, after a day of running, every-single day."
Minho then added, "Now, for your case, if you were to ever become a Runner, I don't think you have to, considering you know." He tried hinting at her blindness.
Nova nodded, "I get it. Yeah."
"Sorry." He apologized.
"It's okay, there's literally no other way of saying it." She chuckled.
Minho put the bins away, and looked at her, "I've taught you a few things already, I think that'll be it for the day." He continued, "Tomorrow, we test how fast you are."
"Understand?" He asked.
Nova nodded, "Good." Minho smirked, as per-usual.
"I recommend getting some sleep, now, you're definitely gonna need it, ya' little shank." Minho chuckled, patting Nova's head once more, just like two-hours earlier.
Nova sighed, "Alright, Greenie." She now smirked at him, trying to come out as sassy as he was.
Minho smirked right back with a raised eyebrow, crossing his arms he leaned against the door frame of the map room. "Not bad."
