Days went by to the point where they've almost reached their fourth-year in the Glade, Nova wouldn't let herself sleep, most hours she'd just sit there in her little bed holding her legs tightly to her chest. She was scared to fall asleep again, not after the horrific dreams she'd been experiencing some nights when she finally let herself drift off into her own world. And now, she feared her own world that was known as her brain.

There was something new about Nova's brain that was never there beforehand, something that came along with the Changing, after the flashbacks... her dreams... she actually had dreams for once. Before being stung, she never had dreams. It was so taboo, so bizarre to Nova. And she didn't know whether she liked it or not.

She was never really terrified of anything, or many things at least... but now... now she was more terrified of herself. She had not a clue of what happened in her head, that triggered her to finally have dreams. Though, she had an idea. But she was never the one to assume things, unless proven to be true.

But those dreams, those vivid dreams. They were morally based around her flashbacks of the past, and each time she actually let herself fall asleep, they'd get more real and more brutal. They'd play out differently each time, and she would most literally feel them. It was not a pleasant feeling, Nova will be the first to tell you that in a heartbeat.

She only hoped she wasn't the only one in the Glade who had these type of dreams, otherwise, she'd be scared enough to think she had gone even more crazy than before.

And to make it even worse...

The Box never went back down, it was almost like it was stuck.

It certainly didn't look broken, everyone was confused.

Nova found herself strolling through the deadheads one afternoon, not only did she feel exhausted but she also felt the emotion of confusion. But then again, aren't they all confused? She wasn't exhausted from the lack of sleep, she'd grown used to that. It was more so from the Changing and the flashbacks themselves, they sucked her energy dry, like bee's hording flowers for the zest of pollen, only to create the rich and tasteful honey later on.

And yet... she continued to hide it from everyone else, especially Newt. She didn't want them to see how weak she was getting from all that's been going on. Though, she was no longer the only girl in the Glade, she didn't want to be the last. And so, she hid her pain, pretended it didn't even exist in the first place.

Nova suddenly felt the vibration of movement in her feet, she wasn't alone in the deadheads like she thought she was. Frozen for a moment, she slowly made her way towards the crazed movement. Hoping to the Gods it wasn't another one of those metallic monsters, she wasn't ready for the Maze, she needed more time for that.

Finally arriving at her destination, she hid herself behind one of the many large tree's. She sensed two figures who seemed to be toppling over each other. Each making their own set of struggling noises. Such as; groaning, mumbling, and whining the words 'get off!' but the other wouldn't listen. The other seemed very hostile in the moment.

She sensed one of them to be more familiar, she's seen him around, him and Nova don't talk very much, or even at all.

His set of particles showed the color of yellow, in which caused Nova's eyebrow's to stitch together. "Ben?" She whispered to herself, making sure they didn't hear a word.

Last time I checked, he was out in the Maze... Nova thought. Why is he in the deadheads?

Nova sensed the other figure next, this one was purple. She knew it was one of the newbies, since she doesn't remember ever seeing anyone who was purple in the Glade in the years she's been there. But the new question was; who was it? Which of the newbies could it be? There were two.
