It wasn't long until everyone was separated, some into small groups and others solo. As for Nova, she was on her own. She didn't know where her friends went. She didn't know where anyone went.

Nova was completely lost. And for the first time since her arrival to the Glade... She could not decipher where she was... All was a blur.

Nova stood there, both hands on either side of her head, hyperventilating, having a sort of panic attack.

Too many vibrations. Too many particles. Everywhere. It was all just too much. And it was messing with her head. They all merged together at once, both noises and particles. All of it, just a big sloppy mess.

Nova didn't know what to do. There was just too many. She spun around and around, trying to see just anything. But she saw nothing, absolutely nothing but all of the vibrations and particles mixed together. Like a Witch took them, poured them into her cauldron, and started mixing all of them with her spells and potions.

She felt so vulnerable, like a little child who lost her mother in a large crowd of a hundred people, in the middle of a busy city.

Nova listened to all of the Griever shrieks and dying screams of terror. As she slumped onto the grass in a heap, doubling over, crouching her body toward her legs. As she continues to hold onto her head.

She wanted nothing more than for all of it to stop. All of the vibrations and mixed particles were hurting her brain, it was like a knife to the skull, it wasn't pleasant.

Nova then heard the sound of heavy galloping, metal against the ground, and a large shriek. It sounded like it was coming closer and closer, with each giving second. Her breath was heavy, she didn't know where it was coming from.

She tried looking everywhere, but due to everything being mixed together it was hopeless. She couldn't tell anything apart anymore, everything was just gone and destroyed. She only hoped that this wouldn't last forever... she wouldn't last forever.

"NOVA!" She heard a familiar scream. "WHERE ARE YOU?!"

Newt? "Newt?!" She called back exactly what she was thinking, having no time to go over her thoughts, not at a time like this.

She looked everywhere again, trying to find any sort of blue particles, it all still being merged together, confusing her. She heard the Griever come closer, loud and clear. As its gallops shook the ground around her, as its distance was no longer far from her. It would reach her in seconds, if she didn't make a move, run for it, or even just get out of the way.

Until finally, a pair of arms wrapped around her, and she jumped at the sudden act of heroism. "Its alright, I got you." The male voice rasped.

And to her surprise, it was Jeff. "Get to your feet," He began to pull her up. "Come on, let's go!" He didn't mean it in a rude way, they were in serious danger and time was of the essence.

And once on her feet, Jeff grabbed onto her hand and began to run, pulling her with him. Not in any sort of romantic way, he knew that she was confused with her particles and vibrations, so this was his way of guiding her around.

The Griever was very angry, that its target was getting away. It gurgled out a loud shriek, sounding like metal gears tightly whirring in its slimy throat. As it galloped its way faster, towards Jeff and Nova.

They had made it to the Slammer. Jeff opened one of the doors, as there were many, and allowed Nova to jump in first. Jeff jumped in afterwards, and he closed the bamboo door. They crouched inside the darkness of the empty cage, right underneath the door, where there was no way the Griever could see them.
