They all run through the Maze at a jogging pace, following right behind Minho and Thomas who led them to what should be a salvation. Newt kept hold of Nova's hand, as they run together with their friends. Nova just an inch behind Newt.

Since she cannot see, and its been awhile since she last fully step foot into the Maze, thanks to the Griever accident. This was Newt's way to guiding Nova through the Maze with their friends. Pulling her along whilst holding hands, was better than yelling out to her, where all of the Griever's could hear his voice echo and come to feast.

After what seemed like half an hour, after going through what was known as the Blades, at least that's what she believe they were called. She was never among the Blades, but she once overheard Thomas talking about them with Minho in the map room, while she was having a small stroll through the deadheads.

But now that she really thought about it, she was going to miss the Glade in some ways. She would miss her thinking tree in the deadheads. She would miss burning Frypan's bread in the kitchen. She would miss practicing with Gally at the bonfire's once a month. She would miss watching the materialized stars in the sky on the wooden lookout tower with Newt. And strange enough, she will even miss the letter's she got in the Box once a week.

Nova would miss a lot of things... just the thought of that blew her mind. But, she knew this was for the best. It was for the freedom of her and her friends. Freedom is better than a deadly prison, that's what she thought. And of course, Thomas would agree.

They all hid among the wall, and beyond the corridor their destination resided in, Thomas saw a Griever waiting for their arrival. They all hid against that wall along with Thomas, Newt keeping Nova close to him as much as possible.

He turned back to look at his friends, "Is it a Griever?" Chuck asked, nervously.

Thomas nodded shortly, with a shaky breath. "... Yeah..."

"Sh*t." Chuck breathed, he was scared. Nova didn't blame him.

"You take this Chuck," Minho handed him what seemed to be something made of metal.

Nova knew it was the key, it just had to be.

"Stay behind us." Minho finished.

Teresa tied her hair up into a pony-tail, getting ready. "Its okay, just stick with me." She gave Chuck a reassuring smile.

Nova smiled along with her, respecting her for caring for the poor little boy so much. Nova swore to keep Chuck from any harm, even if it killed her. She was not going to let anything bad happen to her little friend, he deserve to live in the land of paradise.

And Nova was going to make sure he did. Mark her words.

That memory... mark her words... it reminded her of the most recent and last letter sent to her from her mother...

Nova grasped her pocket just slightly, feeling the braille paper crinkle just a little bit. She wanted to read it now, but it wasn't the time to do so. Now was the time to fight for their lives, for their freedom.

And so, Nova kept the letter stuffed tightly into her pocket, for safe keeping. Planning to read it whenever she found the time, maybe when they were free?

"Let's run through, and it'll activate." Thomas explained. "And the door will open, alright? We stay close, we stick together, we get through this. We get out now, or we die trying."

Nova's heart raced with increasing speed, as she felt nervous. But it was now or never. Newt seemed to pick up on her nerves, as his hand tightened around her hand.
