It's a day of your fortieth birthday but it feels like any other day. You come downstairs to see Criss left you a note saying he had to go to work early but he's taking you to a lovely restaurant after work. He also writes that because of a storm that's hitting Australia Johnny isn't going to be in town which makes you a little sad since you and Johnny have so much fun together and Shaunyl liked you and how you treated Johnny. You call your sister and she answers by wishing you a happy birthday. "Thanks it doesn't feel like it".
"Oh come on Criss has to have something planed for your birthday" she remarked. "Well he's at work but he said he's going to take me to a restaurant after work". "What about his son isn't he in town this week?" she asked. "No storm hit Australia so he's not coming this week". "How about you and I go shopping for a nice outfit to knock Criss on his ass tonight" she suggested. "All right thanks" and hung up. At the stores you and your sister are having fun when you see someone you know.
"Dimitra" you call out. The lady turns around and it's Criss's mom. "Y/N hello my dear what are you doing here bankrupting my son" she joked. "No I'm bankrupting my sister instead Janice this is Dimitra Criss's mom". "And what a great son you have even my aunt was ready to fight my sister for Criss" she said as Dimitra chuckled. "I thought you were in New York from what Criss told me". "I decided to pull one of my surprise visits on Criss I should get going to surprise him good bye ladies" and left.
"I like her do you think grandpa wants to start dating again" your sister remarked as you start to laugh. "Yea my grandfather and Criss's step father I can just see the therapy bill as we speak" you stated as your sister starts to laugh. "Come on let's go" and they left. When Criss got home he saw all the bags at the stairs. "Hey baby how are you?" giving him a hug.
"Good do I need to file for chapter eleven?" he jokily asked pointing to the bags. "My sister's birthday gift she took me shopping" she replied with a smile. "She'll probably be asking me for a loan for her credit card payment" he remarked helping you upstairs with the bags. "Don't talk mister I need more room than my girlfriend in the closet," you replied as Criss snickered.
"I saw your mother today" putting the bags away. "Yea she told me I just love when she pulls these surprise visit makes me feel like I'm in the army or something" as you come out and sit next to Criss. "I think it's cute that she still checks up on her baby boy" squeezing Criss's check.
"Very funny why don't you get ready while I shave" he said. When you and Criss got ready you go outside to see Criss's Royals Royce waiting outside. "Christopher you brought your Royals Royce out of storage for me" giving him a kiss. "I thought it would nice when we pull up to the restaurant" Criss replied opening the door for you. You both get in and leave.Inside Criss takes a handkerchief from his pocket and puts in over his hand.
When he pulls it away a box is in his hand. He gives you the box and you open it to reveal a necklace with heart studded hanging from it. "Oh Christopher this is beautiful". Criss takes the necklace out of the box and helps put it on you. "I had a feeling it would match your dress to a T" as he kisses you on the check. You guys get to the restaurant and Criss helps you out. "Wow this is such a lovely place I hope they have a table for us". "They should I paid to have this whole restaurant to ourselves"he replied. "Criss you didn't need to do that".
"I did when you see what I have up my sleeve" and pulls a handkerchief from his sleeve which makes you chuckle. "Now turn around and let me put this on". You're curious about this so you let Criss blindfold you. He helps you in and leads you as your mind goes off the wall trying to figure out what your boyfriend has in store.
He tells you he's going to take off the blindfold but to keep your eyes closed which you do. "All right on the count of three open your eyes: one-two-three". You open your eyes as everyone yells HAPPY BIRTHDAY. "Oh my god!!!!!". "You surprised??" he asked. You nod as tears runs down your face. "Criss planned this whole thing" your mother said giving you a hug. "You serious he planned this whole thing" looking at him as he blushed.
"Right down to the dress he wanted you to wear" your sister stated. "You've have earned your nick name Mindfreak" as you give Criss a hug. "I have one more surprise up my sleeve" as he whistled. The door to the kitchen opened and Johnny comes walking out with a gift. "Oh Johnny you are your father's son" as he gives you the gift. You open it and it's a picture frame but with no picture in it.
"I don't get it Criss why a picture frame but no picture" looking at him. "Oh Johnny I messed up where's the other gift". Johnny shrugged his shoulder. "Hold on I think I know where it is" as he pulled a box from Johnny's back pocket which made everyone chuckle including Johnny. "Daddy" he remarked as Criss smiled at his son.
"Here we go". Criss gives you the box as he takes the other one. You open it and it's a ring in shape of a heart with a little note that says: MARRY ME. You look at Criss as your jaw falls on the floor. "Are you serious?". He nodded as tears started to fall down his face. You walk over and hug him as you whisper yes in his ear. "SHE SAID YES!!"he yelled as everyone clapped and cheered. "And the picture frame is to put our wedding photo in" Criss added. "You are a Mindfreak Christopher". "That's my name don't wear it out" as you laugh. "This is a birthday I will never ever forget as long as I live Christopher". "I glad now let's have some fun".
