IMAGINE: Your daughter and her best friend have set up a lemonade stand outside your house. "What are you going to do with the money you make?" you asked. "Spend it on candy" her friend remarked. "How about we give it to charity?"you replied. You can tell they don't want to but you hope someone changes their mind. After a few minutes a few people stop over than you see two men on motorcycles fly by but they turn around and stop.
They take off their helmets and glasses and walk over. "Hello would like some lemonade?" your daughter asks. "Sure we're dying for a drink" one of them said. "What's your name sweetie?". "Jenny" she replied. "Maggie"her friend added. "And how old are you?". "Their about four"you reply. "They're about Johnny's age Criss" his friend said. "Ladies that hit the spot"Criss remarked as the girls blushed. "So it's a dollar each gentlemen" you stated. Criss goes into his pockets and takes out five ones.
"Do you guys want to see a trick"he asked as the girls nodded yes. "All right you see I have five one dollars here," as he folds them over each other. You get closer as he turns the five ones into five one hundred bills. The girls clap as Criss turns them back into five ones. "Here you go two dollars and thank you".
He shakes their hands and leaves with his friend. After the stand is done for the day you take the money in and count it. "Ten dollars ladies not bad," as you give them each five dollars. "How about we go out to dinner to celebrate". The girls jump up and down with joy. You go to a restaurant at The Luxor and while you're eating Maggie and Jenny see the man that showed them the trick with a little boy holding his hand.
"Mommy magic man" she remarked pointing to him. You walk over as Criss smiles. "I remember you the lemonade stand". "Yea they did such a good job I decided to take them out to dinner. Would you like to join us". "Thanks anyway but my son just needs to use-". NBefore he could finish his son threw up all over himself and the floor. "Oh Johnny you should of warned me". "Sorry" he replied.
"One of the lovely side effects of chemotherapy" you remarked. Criss looks at you like you can read his mind. "H-h-how did you know my son has cancer?" Criss asked. "Jenny my daughter had ALL when she was round two worse time of my life since her father isn't around but with help we got through it and she's about three weeks into remission. I'll let you clean up your son" and walked back to the table. "Mommy why did boy throw up?"Jenny asked.
"He sick" as you watch Criss take Johnny to the bathroom. "He was just like you sweetie he has cancer"you stated. After you finish dinner Jenny sees the man and his son who was wearing his daddy shirt while his father's coat was zipped up. "Magic man" she called out running after him. He stopped as Jenny caught up to them. "What sweetie?". She goes into her little pocket book and takes out the five dollars she made. "For you to help your son"she replied giving him the five dollars.
You and Maggie watch as Criss with tears falling down his face takes the money and give her a hug. "Thank you sweetie I'll make sure this goes to help him"he replied. Before they left Johnny gave Jenny a kiss on the check. "Thwank you" Johnny said. You walk over with Maggie who in turns give Criss her five dollars. "Thank you that's really grown up of you"Criss stated and left with his son. "That was very nice of you girls to do that". The girls smile as you walk out with them.
