IMAGINE: Criss and a photographer named Christine are out in the desert doing some photos for Criss with his girlfriend near by. "Are we done yet?" his girlfriend asked. "Just one more and we'll go"the photographer replied. As Christine lines up the shot Criss's girlfriend hears rattling which Christine hears too. She becomes real still when she sees the snake slithering up to Criss. "Criss stay as still as you are. There's a rattle snake near you" Christine said. Criss looks down as the snake coils up. "Criss move!!"his girlfriend called out. The snake struck Criss right in his leg.
"Criss stay still before you get bit again". The snake slithered away right before she took some pictures of it. She goes up to Criss as his girlfriend panic. "God that hurt" he said. "Belinda call 911 now". "We should drive him to the hospital". "Belinda do what I say I've dealt with snake bites now do it!" she yelled. As she went to get her phone Criss wanted to get up. "No Criss just relax and keep your heart rate steady the more your heart races the more venom goes through your system". "God my leg is throbbing"Criss remarked.
Christine grabbed a pair of scissors. "What's with the scissors?"he asked. "I was thinking of making your pants into daisy dukes you've got the legs for it" she joked. Criss chuckled a little. "I need to cut a little so if this swell your leg has room to swell". Belinda came back over. "They're on the way maybe we should elevate his leg". "No if you do the venom could go into Criss's heart killing him" she replied. "How do you know so much about this?" Criss asked.
"My brothers an EMT in Arizona and he taught all the girl scouts which I was and boy scouts about snake bites it kind of stuck with me. Belinda in my car is a first aid it can you get it". She got up and went to the car. "Criss take your sunglasses off for a second" Christine asked. "Why?" as he did. "With you sweating I just want to make sure it's just hot out here and you're not going into shock" she replied. She ran a light pass his eyes and sighed.
"Good you're not in shock" as she wiped his forehead. "I feel like I need sun tan lotion and a good book to read while getting a tan"he joked. Belinda brought over the first aid kit. Christine took out a snake bit kit and put a thing that looked like a huge syringe over one of the bites. "What is that?" Belinda asked. "It's part of a snake bite kit it takes out some of the venom out of the wound".
As she used it they saw a couple of people on mopeds and an ambulance following them. "Looks like the ambulance is here"Christine remarked as they came over. As they loaded up Criss Christine showed one of the paramedics the picture of the snake. "Those diamond backs they are everywhere in this desert"he replied. "Why do you think I carry around a snake bit kit"she stated as the paramedic chuckled. After a few days in the hospital Criss was at home convalesing with his mother's help when a knock came to the door.
"I'll get it Christopher" his mother called out. She opened the door to find Christine. "Hello is Criss home?". "Yes and you are?". "Oh I'm Christine the one who saved him in the desert" she replied. "Please come in". After Christine came in Criss wobbled in to see his mother giving her a hug. "Mom let her breath before I need to get a crowbar to pry you off of her" Criss stated jokily. "I'm glad you're doing good Criss".
"Thanks to you mom why don't you get our guest a drink"Criss suggested as he sat down. "All right" and went to the kitchen. "I heard that you responded well to the anti venom at the hospital". "Yea but they said if you didn't do what you did I could of been in trouble" he replied smiling. "Well I have a welcome gift for you" giving him a bag. He opened it and it was two snake bit kits. "One for your animals and one for humans I talked to one of the paramedics he'll come down and teach you how to use it so if you or someone like your son gets bit or one of your pets you'll know what to do" she replied.
"I may invite my whole crew down so they can watch it just incase someone they know get bit thanks again for saving my life" he remarked smiling at her. "My pleasure Christopher and I have some of the pictures we took. Also a photo shop gag photo".
When Criss looked at the photo shop one he started to laugh as Dimitra came in. "What's so funny Christopher". "Christine had to cut my pants a little when I got bit when I asked her what she was going to do she joked saying she was making my jeans into daisy dukes so she photo shopped one of the picture she took" showing his mother. "Oh may well you do have the legs for it" she replied with a chuckle. "I told him that" as they all started to laugh.
