IMAGINE: Today isn't your day. First you wake up late and your boss almost fires your ass, and to make matters worse your landlord is going to throw you out because your boyfriend hasn't paid the rent in two months than to top the day off you come home to find your now ex boyfriend having sex with another woman. You get so angry at him that you nearly want to kill him and claim temporary insanity. After you grab a few things you leave the hotel not before telling the landlord he can throw your boyfriend out as you give him the key to the apartment.
As you walk to one of the hotels to catch a cab you hear a little boy crying. You following the sound and find a little boy around three crying he's got some bruises and some cuts. "Sweetie what happened to you?". "Lady left me and fell" wiping his nose with his sleeve. "Oh she wasn't a nice person come on sweetie let's get out of here,". You pick up the boy and come out. "Does anything hurt?". "Knee". You noticed a cut that's bleeding a little. "Come on I know where we can get you fixed up".
You end up at a convenience store where an ambulance is sitting. As the driver is coming out of the store you walk over. "Man you are so predictable every night you come to this store for Mountain Dew and cupcakes" you call out. "Hey sis I thought you'd be with your boyfriend and who's this little guy your date for tonight". The boy blushes as you chuckle. "I found him in a clearing he's got some scraps that need to be clean do you think you could do that for me" you ask.
"Sure I'm on dinner with Ashley". You and the boy go to the back on the ambulance and he sits on the edge as your brother gets some stuff. "You ok so far" you ask the boy. "Want my daddy" he remarked as tears fell down his face. "Don't cry we'll find your family". As your brother is cleaning up the boy's wounds Ashley calls her husband an officer and he comes over. You tell the officer what going on as bulletin rides over the radio about a boy who was kidnapped.
You look at the child that you discovered as they describe the boy. You walk over to him as your brother is sharing half a cup cake with him. "Is your name Johnny?". He nodded with chocolate all over his face. "I'll go to The Luxor but first let me take a picture of the boy". "Hold on" as your brother wipes his face.
"Now smile" which he did. The cop came back and got out with a man and a woman in the back. "Where's my son?" she asked scared as the man held her hand. "Calm down he's all right he fell asleep in the back of my truck". He opened the door quietly and there on the gurney with a blanket on him was Johnny. "Thank god" she replied as they hugged eachother.
"I found him in a clearing crying he has some bruises and some minor cuts but he's all right" you tell them. "Thank you so much for finding our son when we were told a woman took him right out the door we were so scared that he was going to be hurt or something"the father remarked. "I guess who ever took him got scared and got rid of him than ran off"your brother suggested. "Why don't you take your son and I'll bring you back to your home"the officer stated. Your brother picks up Johnny lightly and gives him to his parents. They thank you again and leave with the cop.
The next day after crashing at your brother's place your brother wakes you up and tells you that the parents of the kid you found want to talk to you. You get dressed and your brother drives you to the Luxor. You walk in and you see the little boy with his father throwing a penny into one of the fountains which makes you smile. Johnny sees you and runs over to you. You scoop him up and give him a kiss as his father walks over to you.
"I see Johnny remembers you very well from last night" he joked as you put him down. "Believe me your son is so adorable I'd take him home with me" you say as they both chuckle. "My mother's the same way everytime she visit. Listen I want to give you a reward for doing what you did last night". "Believe me sir just helping your son get back to you and your wife makes me happy enough" you replied. "She isn't my wife" he said. "Me like her keep her"Johnny said which made you and his father both blush.
"How about this his mother is going away and has left me in charge of this little guy so I was wondering if you would like to be his nanny for the time being"he offered. "Would I be staying at your house?" you ask. "You'd be living at Serenity my house so how about it". "Please please" Johnny begged. "All right I never liked my boss at my old job anyway" you reply with a smile. "Yea" he stated with a smile. "By the way my name's Criss" shaking your hand.
