Almost Feels Like Always (COMPLETED)

HUDSON (TWENTY SEVEN)

I WOKE up a little grumpy because Autumn wasn't beside me when I opened my eyes. Paglabas ko ng kwarto ay nalanghap ko ang mabangong amoy ng bacon. I heard small noises in the kitchen. I went there and saw my baby in front of the stove.

"Nagising akong wala ka. I was mad." Nakasimangot na sabi ko.

She turned around to face me. Her hair was in a messy bun and she was sweating but she looked more appealing to me specially with that pink girly apron on. Fuck. Kailan ba papangit ang babaeng 'to?

Her lips curved into a smile. My chest tightened. In a good way. That's all it took. One smile. Just one smile and my heavy feelings washed away.

"Good morning! I cooked you breakfast." Nakangiting sabi niya.

Naglakad ako palapit sa kanya. Nagsalubong ang kilay ko nang umatras siya palayo sa 'kin. I don't like it. I grabbed her wrist and pulled her. She crashed on my body. My arms instantly wrapped around her tiny waist. Sinubsob ko ang mukha sa kanyang buhok. I kissed her temple then her cheek before settling my face on her neck.

"Hudson, I'm sweaty. Ang lagkit ko na." Reklamo niya pero hindi naman siya pumapalag. She knows it'll pissed me off if she pushed me.

Hinigpitan ko ang yakap sa kanya. "I don't care."

"Hudson naman. Ang baho ko na!"

That's not true. She still smells so nice. You know those elegant and sophisticated women na lalong bumabango habang nagpapawis? Autumn is one of them. Never ko siyang naamoy na hindi mabango. She always smells like cologne or fresh flowers.

She takes care of herself really well. Isa 'yun sa nagustuhan ko sa kanya. Malinis siya sa katawan. Kahit sa paligid niya. Ayaw niya ng makalat. She would scold me whenever my condo was messy. 'Yung lampas isang oras niya sa banyo para sa beauty regimen at skin care niya ay worth it. But don't get me wrong, she's still my baby kahit hindi pa siya maligo ng isang linggo.

I nuzzled her neck and she squealed. Ang bango!

"Hudson!" She was giggling so hard. "Masusunog na ang tino-toast ko!"

I wet my lips before pressing it against hers. Pinakawalan ko na siya pagkatapos ng maikling halik. I helped her prepare the table. Stuffs like this excites the shit out of me. I feel like we're married. God, I can't wait to marry her!

"You wanna go out today, baby?" I asked her.

She smiled and shook her head. "I don't know. I don't feel like going out."

"Let's stay then."

"Okay. Let's." She tiptoed and gave me a quick kiss on the lips.

My stomach fluttered. Shit. Hanggang ngayon hindi pa rin ako sanay sa mga paglalambing niya. Hanggang ngayon nagugulat pa rin ako kapag ganito siya. She never ceases to surprised me. Yumuko ako para sana halikan ulit siya pero biglang tumunog ang phone niya.

"Can you get the call for me, babe?" She said while pouring coffee on our cups.

Kahit hindi niya sabihin, talagang ako ang pi-pick up ng tawag. Kumunot ang noo ko nang makitang hindi naka-save ang number ng caller. Autumn doesn't like random texters and callers but I hate it more. Lalo na kapag lalaki. Umiinit ang ulo ko. Tulad ngayon.

"It was an unknown number. May pinagbigyan ka ba ng number mo?" Hindi ko na naiwasang hindi haluan ng iritasyon ang boses.

She arched her brow. "Wala. Huwag mo na lang sagutin."

But something is telling me that I should answer the call so I did.

"Autumn? Princess? Thank God, you finally answered. I've been texting you but you weren't replying."
