one - new student

Seehye's POV

I slowly opened my eyes and groaned because my alarm was bursting through my ear drums. Today is the first day back at school after the school holidays. I attend Busan High. I don't have many friends but I do have a bestfriend and her name is Seulgi. I also have a boyfriend and his name is Chanyeol. He is very handsome and is actually quite good at rapping but sadly he isn't feeling too well at the moment so I won't be seeing him just yet.

I got up out of my bed and got ready to see some new and old faces. I cleaned my self up and then got into my school uniform which some how still fits. I ran downstairs and said goodbye to my father.

"Have fun at school and study hard please. Make mother proud." My father said while hugging me.

His statement caused me to smile as the amazing memories me and my mother had were brought back into my head.

"Don't worry, I will." I pulled away from the hug and smiled while walking out of the house.

I closed the door and made my way to Seulgi's house.

I knocked on her door and got no reply.

I rolled my eyes and then looked on the floor. I picked up a few thick but short sticks and started throwing them at her window which was luckily at the front side of the house.

Suddenly her window opened and she stuck her head out. I tried to hold in a laugh.

"Your hair looks like a jungle!" I snorted.

"Shut up grandma." She snorted back.

"Okay okay hurry up, we are going to be late because of you!" I shouted back jokingly.

"Wow nice to see you! I missed you so much!" She said as she was locking her house door.

"Well thats nice, but I didn't miss you." I said and we both started laughing.

"You're lucky I can take a joke Miss Seehye." She said as we both finally made our way to school.

We finally arrived at the place we dreaded most.

We received our assigned lockers and got our books for periods one and two.

I walked into the class room to be met with many familiar faces. I smiled and bowed to our new teacher we were assigned to.

I took a seat at the front of the room and waited for Seulgi to walk in.

"Alright class, my name is Miss Caeyoung, you can call me whatever you like as long as it isn't rude." She announced to the class smiling.

"She seems nice." Seulgi whispered to me.

"Well anyways as you see, we have one spare seat and that spare seat is for a student who has not attended this school yet so please, be welcoming."

The door opened and revealed a young man. He had long brown hair that rested just above his eyes. He seemed very good looking from what I could see.

"Hello, my name is Taehyung, please be welcoming." He said and looked around the room until his eyes stopped on me.

I smiled at him but he just looked at me with a blank and cold face. Jeez, someones grumpy today I thought.

He made his way to the back of the room and sat down by himself.

"He seems weird." I whispered to Seulgi and she turned her head towards his direction but immediately turned back to me.

 "He keeps staring at you." Seulgi said which made me curious. I turned my head to back of the classroom and we made eye contact which made me immediately look away.

"Well, that that was a bit awkward." I whispered out loud.

I was daydreaming out the window until a voice interrupted my dreaming.

"Seehye." The teacher said and smiled while pointing at the board.

"Uh, y-yes miss?" I said while stuttering a bit.

"Answer the question I just asked." She said with a bit of attitude this time.

I rolled my eyes knowing that literally everyone else in the classroom had their hand up but she had chosen me to answer the question.

"I'm not sure." I said and looked down feeling a bit embarrassed.

"Well, who can help her?" The teacher said and looked up around the classroom.

"Yes Taehyung go ahead." My heart stopped for a second as the teacher said those words.

"The answer is 8." Taehyung announced to the class in his deep voice.

I rolled my eyes and sighed quietly.

"Nice job Taehyung! This is why you should listen Seehye." The teacher said sarcastically causing me to roll my eyes once again.

Well this year is already going great.
