31. thats akward (part 1)

brads pov

today had gone really fast , it was almost lunch time but it felt like i only got up an hour ago. i have only got 1 lesson left till lunch which is great because im starving. but the bad thing is the lesson is maths , the most boring thing in the world , i mean i get we need to know how to add and minus stuff but why do we have to involve the alphabet , who really usues this kind of stuff in real life.

i was meant to be meeting mel at the entrance at 11:05 but it is now 11:10 and thers still no sign of her soo.

i walked into mrs rodons class and sat in my usual seat. somthing had changed it was different it felt wierd. i glanced around to see if i could spot mel but no she still wasnt there.

"brad" mrs rodon snapped "i told you yesturday we had new students so that means new seating plan get up and wait at the back of the class room with the rest of the class" i got up lazily and huffed. but as soon as i turned around thats when i saw her , chloe , she stood there looking at me. i didnt know what to do smile or just pretend i hadnt seen her.

thats when i heard laughing , it wasnt just any laugh it was mel. thank god , some one to get me out of this akward situation , i walked towards her , she smiled and cupped my face kissing my cheek gently. she immidiatly froze and tensed slightly , i follwed her gaze , she had locked eyes with chloe , wow her reaction was worse than mine , i thought they were meant to be friends. mel grabbed my arm and pulled me to the back of the class room so chloe couldnt see us.

"what is she doing here" mel wispered

"i have no idea , probubly one of misses new students" i chuckled

"well isnt it going to be akward , that you have to see each other and that she has to see you and me well us" she said sounding more serious

"i guess so it- " i was cut off by a loud voice booming above our heads

"anything youd like to share" mrs rodon snarled , i looked around the entire class were watching us including chloe. i shook my head and let go of mels arm

"right then" she said straightening out her suit "lets get on with the seating plan

we all nodded , she went through a couple of names , we were all sat in alphabetical order. thats when i remembered chloes last name was simone and mine was simpson , there was no way of getting out of this one. mel mouthed "its going to be okay" as if she knew what i was thinking.

mrs rodon finally got to chloes name , she followed mrs to the middle of the class room and sat on the 2 person desk.

"brad simpson your next to chloe , please be nice to her shes new you see" mrs rodon said , clueless that she had just made a rather large mistake

i shuffled along the carpet exeptionally slow , dreading the akward silences to come. i looked back at mel , i could see jealousy in her eyes , it usually looked hot , but this time she just looked sad. mrs rodon said a couple more names , jamie , alex , mary , annabell , aine , then she came to peter and then mel , i sighed a sign of relief knowing mel was sat at the desk behind me , so i could talk to her when things got too akward. but that all changed when i saw him.

"sorry im late mrs" the tall dark haired stranger said

"ahh no problem daniel" mrs rodon said

"where im i sitting" he questioned , i looked around the room , looking for an emty seat but when i found it i wish i hadnt , it was the one next to mel. her eyes were on him , every girls eyes were on him. he looked abit older than us maybe 18 , he had dark brown hair , green eyes , around 6ft , pale skin , and blood red lips. he looked like a vampire.

"your surname is williams correct"

"yep" he said sounding clearly un intrested

"you will be sitting next tooooooo" she glanced down at her clip board "mel in the corner over there" she said while pointing at mel. a grin over took his face , as he slowly walked towards her.  he sat down casually.

"right class , were going to carry on with the work from yesturday , but today your working with the people next to you" she carried on explaining the rest of the lesson plan for another 10 mintues , but i couldnt concentrate , did mel like him , she was obviously druling over him when he walked in , he looked too handsome he must of had surgery , i had no idea mel was into guys who looked tough and had big muscles. my mind was racing i wasnt even thinking about the chloe problem. i turned around to look at him , he looked slightly familiar , but i had no idea where i had seen him before.

"hey um mel you okay" i wispered to her

"yeah fine , are you and chloe still akward" she giggled

"i havent really had time to talk to her so i have no idea" i sighed

"ooooh whos this then your fancy boy" daniel laughed , mel hit his arm playfully

"no hes my boyfriend " she said defensivly

"good , i like a challange" he stated , giving me an uncomfterble stare

"what do you mean challenge" i asked , he tossed his head back and just laughed.

"day by day my friend , no women could resist me" he said cockily

"in your dreams" mel laughed

"well see , well see" he said while checking her out , she looked offended and covered her chest with her arms. i gulped and turned back around , only to find chloe smiling at me.

"soo brad , long time no see"

"yeah , but you see thats a good thing" i snapped , remebering what she did to mel. she looked hurt

"i was only trying to get a conversation going" she said

"well i dont want to talk to you , or be your friend , i know your upto somthing" i spat

"what do you mean upto somthing " she asked sounding all innocent

"well first off you showing up here , becoming besties with my girlfriend , moving into my lessons and then inviting mel over to a party full of people she doesnt know" i snarled

"she does know one person"

"you dont count " i said adding the duuuh to the voice

"i know , but daniel does" , wait a minute daniel can go but i cant , she said all girls and as far as i can see daniels a guy

"well you should know mels not going with out me"

"i know , why do you think i invited her" she smirked

"stop it , just stop it , we are never getting back together" i said rather loudly

"weee are never ever ever getting back together" daniel sung from behind me , clearly amused as he was laughing , mel was sort of laughing too but trying to hide it.

i got up from my desk and stormed out of the room , i cant be the only one who senses somthing extremly wrong going on , why did chloe have to move here , try and get me back , why does she know the person thats trying to steal my girl from me , somthing is defnitly going on. i thought while pacing up and down the small corridour in the bathrooms
