Jongin

It was already getting dark when Jungsu finally arrived.
I was leaning against the windowpane to watch the garden lights. It was so boring in this room and I was hungry again. Luckily there was a bathroom linked to this room, so I didn't have to worry about having to pee and no one being around to let me out.
I was highly uncomfortable with the idea of being locked up and if the room had been any smaller I probably would have panicked.
After Minsuh had left me to bring me food she had locked the door.
I probably had pissed her off, but I had only spoken the truth.

I heard the sound of a key in a lock and turned around to see who would enter the room. The door swung open and revealed Jungsu with a stupid grin on his face. "How are you Jongin? Enjoying the silence?"

"Fuck you," I spat.

"Oh don't be like that baby boy." He took a few steps in before getting something out of his pocket. "Don't you want to use this?"

"Give that back!" I was about to walk over to him when he raised his hand.

"You're gonna listen carefully to me now. Quit the attitude cause I'm the one in charge here." Something in his voice made me stop moving. This is exactly how I remembered him. Bossy and mean. He wasn't really my cousin, he was the step son from my father's sister. So technically he wasn't family.
I knew him from when I was six years old and he was seven. He has always been mean to me, but when we got older he did something to me I still can't talk about.

"Got it?" His voice snapped me out of my thoughts and I nodded.
He waved shortly with my phone before turning around and heading out.
I quietly followed him down the stairs and noticed he was walking into the kitchen. Minsuh was sitting at the table with a plate in front of her.
I held my stomach by seeing the food and looked away.
Jungsu sat down across his girlfriend, "you can eat after this. Sit down."

I lowered myself onto the chair and bit my lip. "What do I have to do?"

"Minsuh." Jungsu turned his head to the woman and she handed me a paper. "There you go."

I took it from her and scanned the words. "I have to say this to my boss?"

"You are good friends right? But he won't ask too many questions." He pulled out a gun and leaned back in the chair, pointing it at me.
Kris' face lingered in my mind and I swallowed nervously. The last time someone pointed a gun at me it didn't end well. "One wrong word and..." He took off the safety and the click echoed in my ears.

I took a deep breath before reaching out my hand so he could hand me the phone, which he did.
I dialed Chanyeol's number and felt my heart racing as I waited for him to answer.

"Hello? Jongin is that you?" Chanyeol spoke after he had picked up.

"Are you alone?" My voice was unsteady as I read the first sentence that was scribbled on the paper in my slightly shaking fingers. I didn't know if they were shaking from the fear or from the lack of food. Maybe both.

"Uhm... Yes. Where are you?" Chanyeol's voice was filled with worry.

"It doesn't matter." I quickly spoke. Jungsu watched me closely, since it wasn't written on the paper. "I want to be alone."

"Jeez Jongin, did you have to make all this drama just to be alone?" He let out a sigh.

"It was all too much for me. I'm sorry." I apologized. "Is someone taking care of Monggu?" I asked my own question.

"Yeah, Kyungsoo is staying over at your place." He answered.

My heart skipped a beat by hearing his name. "K... Kyungsoo?"

Jungsu furrowed his eyebrows and I immediately checked the paper to see what I had to say about him. "I... Tell him I don't want to see him again." I licked my dry lips and blinked to prevent the tears from welling up.

"Jongin... Are you for real?" Chanyeol asked surprised and I realised he didn't know what Kyungsoo had done.

"Just tell him that." I said firmly. "I'm gonna stay here for a while."

"Where are you Jongin?" Chanyeol asked again.

"Just leave me alone okay?" I ran a hand through my hair. "Please."

"Okay then." Chanyeol sounded defeated. "Take care."

I hung up and looked at Jungsu, who nodded in approval. "Good job. You can eat now."
Minsuh shove the plate towards me and I started eating hungrily. I felt so bad about telling Chanyeol to tell Kyungsoo I didn't want to see him again. I was so scared of what would happen next.
