"He needs rest," Lay spoke as he stood behind me and laid a hand on my shoulder. "He's gonna be fine, Kyungsoo's a tough one."

"I know." I flashed him a small smile before he walked out of the room, leaving me alone with Kyungsoo. I stood up from the chair I was sitting on and pulled the white sheets up higher over his body. He looked even paler than usual and it scared me.
Lay knew someone that worked at the hospital and had treated Kyungsoo. He told me he was gonna be fine, but seeing him like this hurt. Was this how Kyungsoo had looked at me when I was in the hospital?
I lifted my hand and placed it in his neck, rubbing the skin softly with my thumb.
At least he was just sleeping and was soon gonna wake up.

I pulled away and sat down after I had pulled the chair closer to the bed. I rested my head on the soft material and started drawing lines on his hand. "I am sorry I didn't noticed when you first walked in. I thought it was only your face." I apologised with a sigh. "I won't let him get away with this."
I pulled my hand back and clenched it. "He's gonna regret this."

Kyungsoo's fingers started moving and soon his eyes were open and staring at me in confusion.
I quickly stood up again and leaned closer. "How do you feel?"

Kyungsoo blinked a few times before licking his lips and opening his mouth, voice harsh, "my whole body aches."

"Right." I lifted my hand to wipe some strands out of his face and pressed a kiss on his forehead. "I'm just glad you are awake."

"I'm still tired," Kyungsoo remarked as he continued with staring at me. "And thirsty."

"Here." I took the plastic cup filled with water that Lay had brought me, and waited until Kyungsoo had pushed himself in a sitting position before handing it to him.
He gulped it down in one go and gave it back to me. "Jongin... Did you mean it?"

"Mean what?" I asked confused while I carefully sat down beside of him on the bed. Kyungsoo immediately took my arm to place it on his shoulders as he rested his head on my chest. "That you were proud of me," he whispered and pressed his face in my neck.

"Of course I meant it." I wrapped my arms around him, careful to not hurt him, and stroked his hair. "I've never seen such a brave person in my whole life."

"Thank you."

"But you need to rest baby." I was about to move away when his hand grabbed my shirt, "please stay. I don't like it here."

I nodded and slumped down a bit so he could find a comfortable position to lay in while his body was half on top of mine. He laid his palm on my chest next to his head and I placed my hand on his while my other hand was still stroking his hair.
"I'm sorry I couldn't take you home," he murmured.

"Shhh, it's fine." I assured him and watched how he closed his eyes, soon drifting of to sleep.

"Sir, there's someone one the phone who would like to talk to you." Luhan spoke as he came back into the room with a phone in his hand.

I looked up from my cards and gestured for him to come over. "Who is it?"

"He doesn't want to say his name," Luhan replied with a nervous smile. "But he says you can't refuse this offer."

I placed the cards down on the table and eyed the people I was playing with until they did the same. "If this is a stupid joke I'm gonna find him."
I took the phone from Luhan and watched how he sat down next to me before holding it against my ear. "Speak."

"Nice to finally talk to you Mr. Wu," the person on the phone spoke. "I wanted to contact you for a while but I handled the situation quite well. Until now."

"What situation?" I asked confused.

"The one I'm gonna tell you about, if you don't mind."

I stood up from the table and walked over to the window, still keeping an eye on my cards. "I'm listening."

"I was told you and I have the same enemy, called Do Kyungsoo, am I wrong?"

I raised my eyebrows in surprise. "I wouldn't call him that, but it depends."

"I want revenge and I was hoping you could help me a bit." The man explained. "I think you won't mind doing this."

"What do you suggest?" I looked back at the table and noticed Luhan was the only one looking back. The other's were all busy talking to each other.

"I am really close to getting what I want, only one thing is standing in the way." He explained.

"Which is?" I dug a cigarette out of my pocket and Luhan came up to me to light it.

"Someone you know. His name is Lay and he needs to get out of my way."
