Jongin

"What the hell happened to you?" I asked as Kyungsoo came stumbling through the door. His face was all bloody and beaten up.
I quickly rushed over to him and gave him support. "Oh my god!" I exclaimed.

Kyungsoo leaned heavily on me as I leaded him to the couch. "Jungsu..."

"Did Jungsu do this to you?" I asked as I walked away to get some water and a cloth. Once I was back I noticed he had slumped down in his seat. "Oh Kyungsoo," I spoke softly and moved closer.

His eyes fluttered open by hearing his name and a small smile appeared on his face before it faded into a groan of pain. I sat down next to him and started dabbing his face.
He winced and tried to move back, but I carefully held his face. "I'm sorry, but it needs to be treated. You have blood all over your face."
I tenderly caressed his jaw with my thumb, trying to distract him and it kind of worked.

Once I got rid of all the dried blood I started to clean the wounds, making him yelp. I pulled back to let him have some time to breath, before going back to work.
It took some time to clean his face and putting band aid on the wounds that were still bleeding, but I finally succeeded.
"Are you in much pain?" I asked while looking at him in concern.

He shook his head but the movement only already made him bite his lip. "Okay yes. Do we still have painkillers?"

"I'll get you some." I stood up and walked over to the kitchen and came back with a glass of water and the pills." I handed them to him and he swallowed them with the water.
I took the glass away and placed it on the coffee table before I carefully took him in my arms, making sure to not hurt him, and kissed his head.

He sighed, but I didn't know if it was from relief or tiredness. "Jongin?"

"Yes?"

"I love you."

"I love you more." I kissed his temple softly and started humming. He closed his eyes and let his head rest on my chest. I eyed him and noticed there were some red spots on his shirt. I pushed him away softly to have a better look at it and pushed his shirt up. "K... Kyungsoo..."

He looked up at me with half lidded eyes, "hmm?"

"Did he... Did he stab you?" I asked and looked him in the eyes.
Kyungsoo nodded but groaned from the movement.
"Kyungsoo!" I yelled and cupped his face. "Why didn't you tell me?!"

He flinched at the sudden loudness of my voice and tried to reach out for me. I took his hand and placed it back on his lap, "stay here okay? Don't move."

I stood up from the couch and headed out of the room, trying to stay calm. I didn't want to leave him but I needed to do something. I tangled my fingers in my hair as I tried to take deep breaths.

"Everything alright?"

I lifted my head to see Lay standing further into the hall. He had stopped walking and was looking at me, head tilted a little to the right and hands in his pockets.

"Lay... P... Please." I walked closer to him and he raised one eyebrow. "I need help.

Lay grabbed my arm and forced me to look him in the eyes, "what's wrong?"

"It's K... Kyungsoo." I explained and gestured back at the door. "Please help."

Lay let go of me and walked past me to get inside. I followed him and my heart sank when I noticed Kyungsoo was leaning against the armrest with his eyes closed. Lay rushed over to his side and could see the wounds because his shirt was still pulled up.
"Who did this?" He asked as he looked up at me again.

"He went out and came back like this, he said it was Jungsu." I replied and bit my lip while looking at Kyungsoo. "He said he wanted to see you."

"Stay with him and try to keep him from closing his eyes. He needs to stay conscious." Lay ordered me and ran out of the room.

I slowly moved closer and sat down next to Kyungsoo, touching his face with shaking finger.
"Kyungsoo." I coughed to get my voice steady again and carefully cupped his face. "Kyungsoo look at me."
His eyes were still half lidded as he looked back at me.
"You need to stay with me," I told him and pressed my lips softly on his for a quick peck. "Please."

Kyungsoo nodded, the movement barely noticeable, but closed his eyes again.
I tapped his cheek softly and they fluttered open. "Keep them open."

"But I'm tired," Kyungsoo whispered and leaned into my touch.

"Just for some time, you can close them when Lay's back." I couldn't stop my fingers from shaking and I took a deep breath. "Do this for me."

"I am trying," he spoke softly.

"Good," I replied in also a soft voice. "I am proud of you." I inched closer and rubbed my nose against his cheek. "And thankful for everything you do for me. I really am."

A small sigh escaped Kyungsoo's lips as he slowly raised his hand to place it on mine. "Thank you."

I kissed his cheek and mumbled, "you told me you wouldn't leave me like that."
Before I realised it a tear had escaped my eye and was now sliding down from my cheek to my chin. "You promised."
There was no answer so I pulled away a bit to look at his face. He had his eyes closed and the only thing supporting his head was my hand.

"You promised."
