Jongin

I woke up laying on the ground in front of the door. My muscles ached as I sat up straight, a groan escaping my mouth when my back protested as I stretched my limbs. I rubbed my eyes, trying to get rid of the tiredness and yawned.
My face felt puffy and I remembered how I cried myself to sleep last night.
I sighed deeply and stood on my feet. My whole body hurt.

I missed my life in the book store. My mother, Sehun, Jongdae, Chanyeol and Baekhyun. Of course Monggu and... Kyungsoo. I missed him so much. I missed his hugs and kisses.
After I found out that he had killed my dad I had been furious and sad, but I just couldn't get rid of my feelings for him. Maybe it sounds stupid, but I loved and still love him.
I would do anything to have him back in my arms again and hearing his voice saying he loves me.

I ran a hand through my hair before walking over to the window. While leaning on the window frame I thought about how bad I wanted to leave this place.
I tried to open the window, but it was locked, what a surprise. I could just throw something heavy through the glass and jump out, but that wouldn't bring me far. I'd probably get injured anyway.
I hit the glass with my fist in frustration and groaned.

I turned around and walked back to the door. I would get away from here and I didn't care how. I tried the handle and to my surprise it opened. They didn't bother to lock me up anymore or they had forgotten me.
I quietly walked out and looked at the empty hall, listening if there were any noises. None.
I walked further and arrived at the stairs. Still no sound. As I made my way downstairs I started to hear soft voices. I couldn't hear what they were saying, but it were definitely Minsuh and Jungsu.

I softly pushed the door open to the living room and peeked inside. It was empty.
I bit my lip nervously as I entered the room. The last time I tried to use my phone it didn't end that well.

I could hear they were talking in the kitchen about something that had Jungsu raising his voice. As soundless as I could I walked through the living room, hoping Jungsu had left his bag here somewhere. Or maybe even the phone itself.
My heart skipped a beat as I heard shuffling behind the kitchen door and froze. They kept talking and I took a deep breath before looking around.

There it was! I quickly grabbed the phone and prayed it wouldn't be dead. I pushed the home button and the screen lit up.
I screamed happily on the inside as I unlocked it and hastily searched for a number. I held it against my ear as I waited for the other person to pick up.

"Hello?" The voice sounded hesitant, accompanied by muffled music.

"Kyungsoo?" I could cry from happines as I heard his voice after such a long time. "I didn't want to leave and-"

"I know." He cut me off. "Jongin tell me where you are."

"I... I don't know." I could hear my own heartbeat clearly. "Help me, Kyungsoo. Please."

"I will find you. Hang in there Jongin." Kyungsoo's voice sounded weird, but I couldn't tell what was different about it.

"I believe you'll find me. Just please..." I tried to swallow the lump in my throat away. "Be careful okay?"

"My health doesn't matter. I will do anything for you." Kyungsoo spoke. "As long as you are safe."

"I think you should know that I still lo-"

"Put the damn phone down." I was cut off by another voice. I turned around and looked straight into Jungsu's eyes. "Kyungsoo please." I begged into the phone, my voice full of fear. "I need you."

Jungsu grabbed a candle holder and swung it at me, hitting me hard on my head. The phone fell out of my hand as I cried out in pain. Minsuh's high pitched scream filled my ears, "you are gonna kill him one day!"

"This time he'll learn," Jungsu spat as he kneeled down to my level. "You fucking think you can get away with everything don't you? Every time I catch you the punishment isn't enough for you."

I looked up at him with teary eyes as something wet dripped down the side of my head. "I... I..."

"Shut up." He grabbed me by my hair and pulled me up, only to let the candle holder down on my head once again. "Don't think about trying to escape after this sweetheart."
