"Who's Lay?" I questioned while handing Suho another tissue for his nose. Suho didn't answer but looked around the room. I had told Jongdae to wake Dongsun up and let the other's sleep, including Baekhyun. So now Dongsun was leaning against the wall with his arms crossed as he stared back at Suho.
"Lay's a dirty rat," Dongsun spoke. It surprised us all and Suho's mouth dropped."How...?" I asked, but Dongsun shook his head. "Not important."
"Yes, it is," I protested. "How do you know him?"
Dongsun kept looking at Suho without answering and at that point you could see he was Kyungsoo's family. The same stare with those big eyes. Looking innocent and dangerous at the same time.
Suho sat up straight, "you are that guy that still has to give us money."Dongsun laughed humorless, "us? I'm pretty sure it's jut Lay."
'You weren't that confident back then huh?" Suho smirked. "Disappearing and leaving Kyungsoo alone to deal with it."
Dongsun dropped his hands and clenched them, "I came back."
"Oh right, I forgot you crawled back. I think Lay will like to know you are here. Kyungsoo didn't tell him." Suho grabbed another tissue while grinning like he had just won a big game.
"You feel like a big man now, don't you?" Dongsun asked as he moved closer. Suho looked up and his smile dropped. Dongsun grabbed him by the collar and pulled him on his feet, "you are all filthy rats there."
As Dongsun raised his fist to let it down on the other's face the door was slowly pushed open. They all stopped to stare at the person that walked in.
Jongdae snatched the fly swatter off the ground and swung it towards the guy. Luckily for him, Baekhyun took a step back and the swatter flew past him. Everyone held their breaths as they knew what was coming.
Baekhyun turned his head in our direction and his eyes were burning with fire. "Do I look like a fucking fly to you?!"Jongdae swallowed nervously and shook his head, "I thought you were-"
"Well you thought wrong!" Baekhyun continued with shouting, one hand on his hip and his index finger pointing at his victim. "No one was coming up to tell me what was going on, so I came down myself and then someone tries to attack me."
"Baek," I started, but the finger was now pointed at me. "And you said you would be back soon."
"I'm sorry baby," I apologized. "I really am."
"Yeah, right." Baekhyun scoffed and squinted his eyes while looking at Jongdae. "Fucking try that again and I'll put that swatter up your ass."
"I think he has spend too much time with Kyungsoo," I murmured and luckily Baekhyun didn't hear me.
He was about to yell something else but I quickly got up and grabbed his hand, pulling him with me to the couch. I sat down again and forced Baekhyun to sit on my lap as I wrapped my arms around him so he couldn't escape. He would definitely have attacked Jongdae if I hadn't intervened.
He was about to protest, but I pecked his lips and hugged him tightly. Baekhyun went silent as he let me rock us both softly."Why are you here?" Dongsun asked Suho as he let go of his collar. "What did Lay want you to do?"
"He wanted me to check if everything was alright and if you need help." Suho answered while wiping some blood away from under his nose.
"How are Jongin and Kyungsoo?" Dongsun asked and I noticed how his voice changed. He wasn't the demanding older man anymore. He was now Kyungsoo's uncle.
"They're staying there in one of the rooms, so I guess they're fine." Suho replied with a shrug.
I felt a hand on my chest and looked down to see Baekhyun snuggling into my body, trying to find some comfortable position as he closed his eyes.
He looked so fragile in my arms I had the urge to tell him everything was going to be okay. But I didn't even know what 'everything' was, let alone if it would be okay.Jungsu
"So they're getting food, big news." Minsuh sighed and lifted her leg to place her foot on the dashboard. "Why are we following them anyway?"
"You are really not that smart are you?" I snapped annoyed. "And stop whining for God's sake."
She glared at me, "why am I even together with you?"
I glanced at her and rolled my eyes, "please just shut up." My eyes followed the two guys that walked into the shop. They seemed happy which surprised me.
"You don't just talk to me like that," Minsuh glared at me. "I don't need to be here and support your stupid ass."
I ignored her while keeping an eye on the doors from the store. When they come out we'll follow them and then we'll know where they are. Simple plan. I rolled my shoulders to the back in an attempt to let the aching disappear before moving my head from side to side.
"Fine then." Minsuh crossed her arms and looked at me with an angry expression. "I can just get out of this car and never come back."
I shrugged, not caring to speak to her. She let out an annoyed sound before unbuckling the seatbelt and opening the door. I groaned and reached out to grab her arm. "Minsuh please."
"Why should I stay?" It wasn't really a question because she answered it herself. "You treat me like trash and think you are above me."
I sighed in defeat because I knew she was right. "I know."
"See? That's the problem." She spoke and gestured at me with her hand. "You only acknowledge it, but don't say or do something to fix it."
"Some people can't even acknowledge it." I let go of her arm and she closed the door again. "You know I love you."
She bit her lip and nodded. "I know."
I turned to look in front of me again and was just in time to catch another person walking inside of the store. "Fuck, I murmured."
