It was already late when I heard the front door open and close. A few moment later there were footsteps walking up the stairs.
I pressed my eyes close and pretended to be asleep.
Someone unlocked the door and I tried to see the person through my eyelashes. I breathed out the air I had been holding as I noticed it was Minsuh. I opened my eyes and stared at her in confusion.

"Don't look at me like that. Someone wants to see you and you still have blood on your head. I should clean it." Minsuh answered my unasked question as she was holding a first aid bag.

"Who wants to see me?" I asked confused. "This is crazy."

"Tell me something I don't know," she spoke as she sat down on the bed, moving closer to wipe the dried blood away from my head.

I winced in pain, since she opened the wound again with the wiping. "Why haven't you done that before?!" I asked angrily.

"We didn't know she would check on you," Minsuh explained. "Believe me, Jungsu wouldn't have let me if she wasn't coming."

"Who is she?" I asked again, desperately wanting an answer. "Fine," I said after she had ignored it. "Then at least tell me you know how my friends are doing."

"I do know that," she answered to my surprise. "They are alive."

I pulled a face, "does that mean they are hurt? Did you guys hurt them?!"

"Shut up," she snapped. "You are giving me a headache."

"Like I care," I snapped back. "I want you to untie me and let me go!"

"If you don't shut up I'll have to get Jungsu." She pulled away to get a band aid and placed it on the now bleeding wound.

"Don't."

"Just as I thought," She remarked with a grin. "Now be a good boy and listen for once."

I glared at her. "You guys are treating me like shit and you are surprised that I don't listen? Are you crazy? Oh right, you are! You are keeping someone against his will in a locked room, hit him and tie him to the bed!"

"Do I have to repeat myself?" She asked bitter. "I swear I will."

I furrowed my eyebrows but closed my mouth, looking down. I tried to free my wrist, but of course it didn't work. Why would it? I had lost count on how many times I had tried. It was painful and I think I cut the flesh open, but who would care about that? No one.
Tears started stinging in the corners of my eyes, but I pressed them closed, not allowing them to spill.

Minsuh stood up and grabbed the bag, "I'll be right back with her."

"Is Jungsu out?" I asked, looking up again to meet her eyes. They were the kind of eyes that were hard to read, just like Kyungsoo's. I had learned to see through the mask, but in the beginning he definitely was intimidating. The difference was that Kyungsoo had a mask, but I wasn't sure Minsuh had one. I believed she just was like this. This was who she really was.
She nodded before heading out, leaving the door ajar.

I sighed deeply before focusing on my wrist. The skin that was visible was an irritated red and it burned. What did I do to deserve this? Loving Kyungsoo? Was that why?
Well if that was the reason, I didn't regret a single second of it.

Two pair of footsteps caught my attention and I expectantly stared at the door. Seconds later it was pushed open and Minsuh stepped inside of the room again, followed by a woman.
My breath hitched. "Mom...?"

Chanyeol

It was already starting to get dark and there still wasn't any sign of other people than Baekhyun, Dongsun and I. Baekhyun was leaning against my chest, absently drawing lines on my hand that was placed on his stomach.
He shifted lightly before speaking, "I'm hungry."

I looked up at Dongsun, who was sitting on the chair behind Baekhyun's desk. He shrugged, "we can go downstairs."

"Okay, maybe you should stay here Baek." I spoke while looking down at him.

"What? No. I am going. You can stay here." Baekhyun protested.

"I won't let you," I said firmly, immediately tightening my grip around his waist. "Hell no."

"Fine, but I won't stay here either." He kept insisting. He tried to free himself from my arms, but I got off the bed, pulling him with me. A giggle escaped his lips as I picked him up by his waist like a child. "You are not going anywhere without me."
I let go off him, but grabbed his hand before walking downstairs. Dongsun followed us quietly into the kitchen and he dug up a cigarette out of his pocket, along with a lighter. "You don't mind, do you?" He asked Baekhyun. Well it was not really a question to be honest, but Baekhyun shook his head anyway.

I started searching in the cupboards, trying to find something edible. I turned my head and noticed Dongsun was leaning against the fridge. "Is there something he can eat in there?" I asked him. He took the cigarette out of his mouth and turned around to open it. I could see the content and shook my head, so Dongsun closed it again.
I opened another cupboard and my eyes landed on a chocolate bar. "You want that Baek?" I asked as I took it out.

As he didn't answer I frowned and turned around. "Baek?"
Only Dongsun was standing in the kitchen. I looked at him with big eyes and he immediately walked out, taking something out of his pocket.
I quickly followed, but stopped once I realised what he was holding. "Dongsun!" I exclaimed, making him turn around with a startled expression, the gun now pointing at me. "Please tell me you know how to use such a thing," I said and swallowed nervously.
He nodded and I sighed in relief.

We started walking again and Dongsun walked further into the living room. It was almost dark now and the lights were out. I bit my lip while looking around, but no sign of my smaller boyfriend. I was really getting worried now. There was a curve in the living room where you could sit or stand without being seen if you entered the room and Dongsun walked slowly towards it.
A muffled sound echoed through the room and made my heart skip a beat.

Dongsun turned the small corner and pointed his gun at whoever was there. "Let him go!"

Those words made me rush towards his side and what I saw took my breath away. A guy dressed in all black with a mouth mask was holding a knife against Baekhyun's throat, while covering his mouth with the other. "If you come any closer, I'm gonna slit his throat." The guy spoke.

Baekhyun was whimpering in his grip as he was pulled back harshly. I wanted to do something so badly, but I knew I couldn't. I had to rely on Dongsun, but the fact that it was Kyungsoo's uncle made it even harder. I closed my eyes for a moment to calm down, clenching my fists.

"I can shoot you easily," Dongsun spoke. I wondered if he was bluffing or not.

"Try me," the guy spoke and I could only watch as he put pressure on the knife, piercing through Baekhyun's skin. Blood started dripping down from the cut and Baekhyun's chest was now violently rising up and down.
I couldn't watch this anymore and I did something I will never do again. I turned my face away from the scene.

I focused on Dongsun's hand and everything seemed to go in slow motion. I could see how his index finger curled around the trigger and pulled it. The bang came later and it sounded from far away.
I looked back again and I was just in time to catch Baekhyun. The guy in black had lost his balance and because of that he had slit the knife against Baekhyun's neck, leaving a red line.
Just then I realised Dongsun had shot the guy and I was holding my bleeding boyfriend.
