The Dolores Family and Anna left Aragona. They are heading to Sherlock to celebrate the birthday of Señora Margareth Casedona. Anna is determined to go, she is afraid that her brother might know. Joseph will be back in the next three days.
"This is gonna be exciting! I will make sure that Margareth will get jealous with my dress. Thanks to Anna Marie, I am so fabulous." Señora Agatha said.
"Did I tell you how many times mom said she was fabulous?" Gaston irritatedly asked.
Anna Marie just giggled. It takes 10 hours to arrive at Sherlock. Because of the long ride, all of them fell asleep.
Anna Marie woke up in she is already alone in the carriage.
"Señora Agatha? Gaston? Where are you?" Anna Marie felt scared.
She is in the middle of the forest when she saw a man and a boy.
"Joseph?" Anna asked but no one heard her.
She saw her old brother, but different. Her brother looks younget now.
"My child is no more safe in here, I want you to get her out of here." the man said.
The boy cried, "I am afraid, uncle. What will happen to my mother? I can't lose her you know." the crying boy said.
The man pat the boy's shoulder, "We will do what is right. That is how a Casedona works." the man said
"But I am not a Casedona." the boy said.
The man nodded, "You are not a Casedona by blood." the man held the boy's hand and put it to his heart, "But you are a Casedona by heart and that is important. In our case, not all our families are allies, not all allies are families. Remember that." the man reminded.
The boy wiped away his tears, "What if I fail?" he asked.
The man smiled, "You are not gonna fail if you give everything. This is gonna be hard, but you will be rewarded." the man said.
The man suddenly disappeared and the place changed.
"Where am I?!" Anna said in fear.
Now everything is different. The man is the same as well as the boy but there are in a office.
"What brings you here?" the man asked.
"I can't." the boy cried, "I failed you, I am sorry." the boy said.
The man hugged him, "You never did." the man said, "This is difficult for you, especially for your age, but you are the only one I know who is stronger than I am. My wife needs protection, if she and my daughter will be in Aragona, they will be safe." he said.
"But---"
The boy stopped when he heard that is someone is entering, "Hide!" the man said.
The boy hid under the table and there were a woman entered the room. And suddenly everything is changing. All over again...
"What the hell is happening?!" Anna asked.
She looked at the room, she is still there but the difference is... The man is lying on the floor with his blood. The boy came near him.
"Uncle, don't die. I am sorry for what my mother did. I am sorry, I should have listen, I should have been strong." the crying boy said.
The man smiled, "You are as benevolent as my father. Please take my child, as you will protect her and love her. I am so proud of you, my student, Joaquin." the man said but before the man close his eyes he look to the direction where Anna is standing and she became nervous.
"I will protect her, and raise with me. I will not gonna let you down, Uncle." the boy said and left the room.
Anna ran away, 'if this is a dream, please wake me up.' Anna told herself.
She was running straight to the forest when she saw the man, the dead man earlier.
"Oh don't come any closer!" Anna warned.
The man smiled, "Never ever lost that necklace of yours." the man told Anna, "It is yours, it belongs to you." the man said.
"Stay away from me!" Anna yelled and runaway again.
The necklace were given by Joseph on her 18th birthday. According to Joseph, the necklace was sold to him by another merchant.
"Anna! Are you alright? You are having nightmares." Gaston said.
Anna was shocked, she woke up still in the carriage, and they are still travelling.
"I dreamed of my brother and a man he got killed... What kind of dream is that?" Anna is panicking.
Gaston hugged her, "Anna, you are gonna be fine. It is just a dream. Nothing to worry about." Gaston reassured her.
"In a few minutes we are gonna be at the Casedona mansion." Señora Agatha reminded us.
After a long ride they finally arrived at the Casedona mansion. It is huge compared to the Dolores's but of course Dolores do have a huge house as well.
Many visitors are coming in. The house is gorgeous. The Dolores were welcomed by the maids of Casedona. The celebration are huge and beautiful.
But Anna were strucked when she saw the family portrait of the Casedona. She saw Fabian, the man who she saw in her dreams, the boy, the boy who looked exactly like her brother and the old man who gave her the letter 11 years ago. What is going on? She thought. Do he really know her brother?
